General Hospital (GH) spoilers for week for January 16-20 tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) will team up with a wild partner on a new plot. Since Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is pretty fed up with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), he seems like a great candidate.
Nikolas will reel over Victor’s stunning move a little later. It sounds like Victor is gearing up for a betrayal that’ll teach Nikolas a lesson and eliminate this liability for the Cassadine clan.
Of course, Ava will also get her revenge if all goes well, so it may be a situation where everybody wins except Nikolas!
Could Nikolas land behind bars by the time Victor and Ava are through with him?
Until then, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) call Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) out for lying and wonder what he’s up to.
This may involve Spencer’s deception about possibly being the father of Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) baby and a plan to jog her memory or prove she’s faking amnesia.
Over with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), they’ll have some questions to contemplate.
This could tie in with all the Esme mayhem and perhaps lead to some new clues regarding “The Hook.”
Next, Heather Webber (Alley Mills) will play with fire by stirring up major suspicions.
Whether that involves something Heather says or perhaps her injured wrist, there’ll be too many questions and concerns surrounding her.
That could rile Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) up if he feels like Heather is jeopardizing their alliance or any of their grand family plans.
While they’re on the run, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will help Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) understand his perspective.
No matter how bleak things might seem, Valentin may assure Anna that they’re making progress and will find a way to clear her name.
Back in Port Charles, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will be in total shock over the news that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is her birth mother.
Although Willow will struggle to believe it at first, she’ll eventually get confirmation that it’s true.
Nina should step up as a bone marrow donor if this storyline continues down a predictable path. However, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) won’t just be willing to forgive and forget.
Nina may save Willow’s life, but that won’t erase all the damage that’s been done in Michael’s opinion.
There’ll be some tension that leaves Nina leaning on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for comfort, especially as they all await updates on whether Willow’s numbers are improving.
It looks like Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will show up to offer support as Willow fights to survive.
Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) will find out about Willow being Nina’s long-lost daughter, so they’ll reel over that bombshell.
The fact that Nina will be in a position to save Willow’s life will add to the drama of it all, especially for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
Since Carly sat on the bio mom secret for so long, she inadvertently sabotaged Willow’s treatment and recovery.
Carly never would’ve hurt Willow’s survival chances on purpose, but Michael could still blast her for withholding valuable info from his fiancée.
Sonny will also hurl an accusation, so it could be directed at Carly.
Under the circumstances, Sonny would have every right to accuse Carly of hiding the truth about Willow to get revenge on Nina.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is a loyal daughter and may stand the best chance of taking Carly’s side.
GH spoilers say Josslyn will have compassion, so she may be in Carly’s corner as all this explodes.
Meanwhile, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will try to persuade Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett).
It seems Marshall will surrender on genetic counseling, which could prove his schizophrenia diagnosis was wrong all those years ago.
Elsewhere, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will make a shocking discovery, so he may see an unpleasant sight and react to it.
There’ll be some surprise that Cam would rather not receive, so he might accidentally witness Josslyn and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) in a sizzling moment together.
General Hospital spoilers say Cameron’s heartbreak may get worse if he realizes Josslyn cheated on him with Dex before the breakup, so stick with ABC’s GH.
