General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of January 9-13 tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) will divulge some plans to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who may worry if Ava insists on pursuing revenge.
Meanwhile, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will have a meeting with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) before Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) backs Nik into a corner.
That could involve Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) pregnancy and Victor’s tough questions about everything Nikolas has been hiding.
Of course, GH spoilers also point to Victor turning to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for help with some family-related issues, so he might initially fear Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is the father and somehow want to team up with Sonny to handle the crisis.
Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) loyalty to Nikolas will leave Laura Collins (Genie Francis) moved, so it sounds like Laura will realize Liz has gone to extremes for Nik’s sake.
Back with Sonny, he’ll get a request from Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs).
Gladys is in over her head with all this poker drama, so she may hope Sonny can work his mob magic and get her out of her latest debt jam with Selina Wu (Lydia Look).
Next, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will connect with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) as they realize they’ve got some things in common, so this could involve some chemistry testing and a new chance at romance.
As for Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), she’ll fight for what matters to her and perhaps make a bold move to win Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) back.
Chase will also end up torn over a bittersweet memento, so we’ll see where his heart leads him.
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will be hard at work on several investigations, so they’ll carry out a new search and perhaps try to get closer to answers about “The Hook.”
At the hospital, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will have an important appointment with Terry Randolph (Cassandra James).
Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will also make a shocking discovery as Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) finds out a crucial piece of information.
It sounds like Carly will finally get updates on Willow’s leukemia diagnosis and realize what’s at stake for her.
Carly will rush to her own defense in the aftermath, but she’ll also brace herself for a difficult blow.
This could lead to Carly confessing she lied about Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) birth mom link and fearing furious Drew will break up with her as a result.
Nina will face a bombshell later, so GH writers will be putting all the pieces in place for a big reveal.
It looks like Nina will be a bone marrow donor match for Willow, so their biological connection could be exposed soon enough.
As for Sonny, he’ll battle some regrets right around the time Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) is working hard at the PCPD.
We’ll see Diane try to get someone out of a legal jam, so that could be Sonny if Michael and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) manage to get him arrested.
Finally, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will receive some unsettling news, so Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) may fill her mom in on the latest pregnant Esme turmoil.
Since “The Hook” is still on the loose, that should remain a concern for Portia along with Trina.
