General Hospital (GH) spoilers review for the week of March 6-10 reveals that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) listened in on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Olivia Quartermaine’s (Lisa LoCicero) conversation, which led to her unraveling a mystery.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) warned Nina that nothing good comes from eavesdropping, but she still wanted the scoop!
It was fun watching Nina and Ava crack the case of why Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) have been keeping their romance under wraps.
Nina now realizes Carly and Drew could potentially do jail time if someone tips off the SEC to their insider trading.
Ava’s wondering what Nina intends to do with this new dirt – and plenty of GH fans are wondering too since it provides a risky path to revenge.
Of course, Nina could ruin her chance of bonding with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) if she takes a vengeful route with this news.
Willow has been softening toward Nina just a bit, but she’s still keeping some firm boundaries in place.
During Willow’s recent conversation with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), she suggested Nina only loved the idea of having a daughter.
That seems unfair since Willow certainly loved the idea of having a daughter as well – so much so that she risked her life by delaying treatment for her leukemia.
Before Willow ever knew Amelia Corinthos (Nathan and Owen Ford), she was willing to die for the baby girl she’d never met.
Likewise, Willow will always love Jonah despite never having a chance to know him.
It’s only natural for Nina to feel a certain way about Willow now that she realizes they’re related.
That doesn’t excuse Nina’s behavior in the past, but maybe Willow needs to start looking at the situation from a mother’s perspective since Nina’s children were stolen from her.
On another note, it was great seeing the payoff of Holly Sutton’s (Emma Samms) drugging plot, which was executed by Selina Wu (Lydia Look).
We now know that the substance Selina slipped Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) led to performance problems in the bedroom!
It serves Victor right after all the horrible things he’s done – and it was nice to get some closure on what that mysterious drug actually accomplished.
