General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of May 1-5 tease that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will get suspicious, but Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will hold firm on her stance.
It could be a situation where Victor suspects Liesl’s stalling, but Obrecht may warn that she needs more time to develop the vaccine Victor needs.
In reality, Liesl may indeed be stalling for a couple of reasons. For starters, Obrecht is keeping Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) alive by using them as lab rats.
Plus, Liesl may realize help has arrived by then. Obrecht might catch a glimpse of one of her soon-to-be rescuers and do her part to help by distracting Victor.
Regardless, Laura Collins (Genie Francis), Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will be lurking.
It looks like Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) may arrive as well and make a drastic move.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will show some fierce determination, so she may find inventive ways to help as she continues recovering from her gunshot wound.
However, it could be Valentin who takes the lead in confronting Victor.
We’ll see Valentin make a tempting offer, so he might attempt to trade his loyalty for the captives under Victor’s control.
There’s no way Valentin would ever do Victor’s bidding at this point, but he may try to dupe him into freeing the hostages anyway.
Valentin may hope to turn the tables on Victor with a trap.
Back in Port Charles, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) will comfort Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).
Portia will have to worry about both Trina and Curtis since the latter took off as part of the rescue team.
Later, Laura will do something daring, but Spencer and Trina will end up feeling panicked in the aftermath.
Whatever Laura tries may lead to disaster and lead to some scary moments.
Laura will be aghast, but Victor will also wind up thrown off his game. That could give Valentin and the others the opening they need to move forward with Victor’s takedown.
Portia and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will be confused over some updates they receive, so they have struggle to make sense of what’s happening near Greenland.
Other GH spoilers say Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will have a meeting with Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) – perhaps to make sure her tracks are adequately covered after all the SEC issues come to light.
If Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) does get arrested, she’ll apparently be out on bail soon since she’ll console Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) during the week of May 1-5.
Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will face some shocking news and ultimately land back in the hospital from the sound of things.
Michael will be completely stressed out in the midst of all this, especially if there’s some Pikeman-related drama on top of everything else.
The truth about Michael and Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) takedown of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may be revealed.
Nina will create a distraction for Sonny, who may face some complicated emotions if he realizes Michael’s betrayed him.
Dex and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will keep hope alive when it comes to their future together, but some twists and turns are brewing.
Next, Willow will make a difficult choice and deliver a wish, which Nina might grant with her presence.
Perhaps Willow will extend an olive branch and get a promise of peace – though Willow presumably won’t know Nina ratted Carly and Drew out for insider trading yet.
Elsewhere, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wanger) will pass along some terrible news, but she’ll keep a positive attitude when she fights for someone she cares about in the aftermath.
