General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of May 29-June 2 tease that some hot drama’s coming up in Port Charles, but let’s talk about a quick programming note first. There’ll be a repeat on Memorial Day, so look for an encore presentation of Sonya Eddy’s (Epiphany Johnson) final episode to air on Monday, May 29.
Things will pick right back up with a new episode on Tuesday, May 30, which will kick off an exciting week of shockers and shakeups.
For starters, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will serve as the host of a significant event, which should be the reading of Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) will.
Victor will have a chance to deliver a message from beyond the grave and spell out his final wishes, which will lead to Laura’s new theory.
Could that involve Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) survival in captivity or some other major bombshell?
Regardless, Victor will definitely make some ominous comments through his will, so Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will find herself feeling unnerved.
Anna will also get grilled about something, so there might be some revelation that’s tied to her past.
Over with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), he’ll catch Laura by surprise. It might be interesting if there were some lingering pathogen side effects, which could affect Valentin’s behavior in unpredictable ways.
Meanwhile, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will speak privately, so the topic of his engagement to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will no doubt come up.
Sonny may push Carly to accept that Nina’s going to be in his life forever, but she may think he’s making a big mistake.
Nina will also spill some information to Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), so maybe that’ll involve spreading the engagement news as well.
Then again, it’s possible Nina will drop a hint about her own involvement in the SEC mess.
It’s possible Olivia will get a hunch about Nina’s role in exposing Carly and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) insider trading.
Speaking of Drew, he’ll pay Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) a visit for some sweet family time.
In the back of Drew’s mind, he may worry about how much longer he can enjoy visits like this since prison could be a possibility for him.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will get into a public shouting match with someone over the accusations he’s still facing, but he’ll continue to insist he’s innocent.
Other GH spoilers say Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will have ulterior motives, so we’ll see if her hidden agenda ties in with defending Carly or perhaps more personal matters with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers).
Since Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will struggle to hide how disappointed she is, that’ll probably be due to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) giving Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) another chance.
Naturally, that means Jordan won’t get her own reunion with Curtis, but she’ll just have to live with that – at least for now.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will also scheme some strategy updates, so they may try to figure out a way to help Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) get along.
Next, Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) and Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) conversation will get interrupted, so that may be due to Mason Gatlin’s (Nathanyael Grey) new mission for them.
Mason will indeed have some sort of job for Ava and Austin to do.
If they refuse, Mason just might offer photo or video evidence that Nikolas Cassadine (last played by Adam Huss) is alive and on life support.
One way or another, Ava will end up in total shock.
Mason may insist Ava and Austin are going to do exactly what they’re told or else he could use his leverage in some stunning ways.
Back with Sonny, he’ll receive a warning from Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). That could involve Sonny’s impending marriage to Nina and the delicate balance that’ll be required to keep the peace with Michael.
General Hospital spoilers say Michael will extend an offer to Carly, so whatever he proposes could make an already messy situation worse.
