General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of May 8-12 tease that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will squeeze some time in with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) as they await news from Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) fate will be in Michael’s hands, but Michael will have more pressing matters to deal with.
It looks like Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will be in bad shape at the hospital, so that’ll help put things in perspective for Michael.
Sonny’s past mistakes won’t matter as much as living in the here and now with Willow.
After Willow gives Michael some good advice, the pair will share a sweet moment together.
Fortunately, Michael and Willow will soon have a reason to celebrate since the rescued captives will all be on their way home.
It won’t be long until Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is back in Port Charles, so she’ll be able to give Willow the life-saving bone marrow transplant she needs.
In the end, Michael will make a significant choice.
It’d be bad writing for Michael to celebrate Willow’s survival by turning Sonny in when his dad’s been nothing but kind and supportive lately.
With that in mind, Michael may decide against ratting Sonny out and delete the video footage that Dex sent him.
Of course, that could be an issue for Dex, who was hoping to break free from the mob and have a brighter future with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Since Dex will presumably still have the original video, there’s a chance he’ll go against Michael’s wishes and turn Sonny in anyway.
As for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), she’ll battle concerns about her secret as the tension in her relationship with Willow starts to lift.
Liesl will be able to give Willow the gift of life, so Nina will have hope for many years of bonding with her daughter.
Unfortunately, the whole SEC situation could come back to bite Nina and turn Willow against her all over again – at least if the truth comes out.
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) may be committed to making sure the real story is revealed since Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) has been wrongfully accused.
After Tracy forms a theory, will Nina be at the center of it as the vengeful person who targeted Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)?
At the PCPD, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will throw himself back into his detective job – most likely to distract himself from the fact that he’s pining so hard for Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
Meanwhile, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will push Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) away and perhaps urge Carly to worry about her own problems since she’s got more than enough to tackle.
It sounds like Sasha won’t want to be a burden, but she could wind up facing some anxiety ahead of a Deception-related promotional event.
Sasha will land in familiar territory and will have a chance to prove she’s made great strides in her recovery, but the threat of a repeat mental episode will linger in the back of her mind.
Next, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will find Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and try to strike a deal.
Since Cody is stuck facing a legal dilemma, he’ll hope for a way off the hook – especially one that helps him prove himself to Sasha.
GH spoilers say Victor’s grim defeat is coming up, so his body may be the one that’s recovered during the week of May 8-12.
That’s also when some warm reunions will happen at the hospital since Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will be thankful over Liesl’s safe return while Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) celebrates Trina’s own homecoming.
Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) will also be summoned to GH, so she should get an opportunity to hold Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) in her arms again soon.
General Hospital spoilers say Esme will get updates on her baby boy and race right over, so stay tuned to see what’s looming for Ace and Esme.
