General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will deal with the crushing blow of Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) kidnapping. Of course, Willow would never root for anyone to get abducted anyway, but Liesl’s situation affects her on a very personal level.
Willow thought she’d been given a second chance at life thanks to Liesl’s surprise bone marrow match.
Liesl was cleared for the transplant, but it can’t happen as long as she’s stuck in Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) grasp.
Willow will soon feel like she’s officially run out of options.
This twist of fate will undoubtedly leave Willow ready to accept her grim fate and make the most of the moments she has left.
There’s no reason to believe Katelyn MacMullen is leaving the show, so another miracle may be looming for Willow.
GH writers have really dragged out this storyline, but they may have one last shocking twist in store as it winds down.
Could a new bone marrow donor be revealed for Willow? Will there be a second miraculous match that gives Willow one final shot at survival?
Willow could potentially find a new match on the donor registry, but it’d be better if her next match was someone that fans already knew.
There’s surely somebody in Port Charles who hasn’t been tested yet that could step up and become the one to save Willow’s life.
Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) might be an interesting backup option, especially if the writers want to make that part of her redemption arc.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) would certainly be thrown for a loop if Esme became Willow’s lifesaver.
Then again, there could be another surprise match somewhere in town.
Liesl’s kidnapping may force another bone marrow donor to take the lead and come through for Willow in the end.
It’s possible Liesl will be found in time to save Willow’s life, but it seems like she’ll be trapped on this wild journey with Victor for quite a while.
It might make more sense for GH writers to deliver a brand-new donor match instead and have the big reveal of who saves the day.
