General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will be stuck on an emotional rollercoaster for a bit longer. At this point, Willow feels like she’s out of options and is prepared for a grim fate.
That’s why Willow wants to get settled back in at home and just focus on her upcoming wedding to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
Willow at least wants to marry Michael before she dies, so he’s determined to make that wish come true at the Quartermaine mansion.
Of course, Nina would love to see Willow tie the knot. Being part of Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) reception left Nina wishing she could dance at Willow’s wedding, but she knows it’s not likely as long as Willow keeps hating her guts.
However, GH spoilers say Nina is missing an important piece of the puzzle – and so is Willow.
The key factor moving forward should be Liesl’s upcoming bone marrow match, which will presumably give Willow a new chance at life.
Obrecht should be the one to save Willow and allow her to remain with her family. You can bet Willow will want Liesl at the wedding as a result – and you can bet Liesl will push for Nina to be in attendance as well.
How can Willow possibly deny Obrecht this request after her life-saving gift?
It sounds like Liesl will score a wedding invitation for Nina, so this could be an important turning point in Willow’s relationship with her biological mother.
Willow may reach out to Nina and catch her off guard by inviting her to the wedding at the Q manse.
Although Nina might worry Willow feels forced into this, she should also be grateful for the opportunity – no matter how it falls into her lap.
Naturally, Michael isn’t going to be a fan of this news.
Assuming that Willow indeed wants to invite Nina to the wedding, Michael may have to surrender to her wishes and just try to keep the peace for a day.
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) won’t love the idea of Nina’s presence putting a damper on the festivities, but she’ll also know they owe this to Liesl.
Like Michael, Carly may have to call a truce long enough to get through this marriage ceremony!
