General Hospital Update: Friday, April 14 – Portia’s Frantic Phone Call – Chase Fears the Worst

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, April 14, teases that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will share what Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) thinks is good news. That may involve Chase’s upcoming chance at getting his badge back since the civilian complaint review board is set to meet again.

However, Chase won’t want to get his hopes up at this point. Although Chase would love to be a detective again, he’ll fear it won’t work out since things obviously haven’t gone his way lately.

On the bright side, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) spoke out against Linc Brown (Dan Buran) at the Nurses Ball, so Chase may give her credit for that.

Gregory may sense that Chase is still pining for Brook Lynn and argue that life is too short to deprive yourself of what you really want.

Since Gregory is secretly battling a serious illness, he knows that better than anyone.

At The Invader, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will fret over Gregory and what he’s going through.

Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) won’t get why Alexis is so fixated on Gregory when he’s been pushing her away, but Alexis may leave that a mystery since she promised to keep Gregory’s secret.

Back with Gregory, he’ll face another tricky dilemma. It looks like Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) may get a hint about Gregory’s health struggles and ask questions that are tough for him to answer.

At the Quartermaine gatehouse, Brook Lynn will leap into action.

GH spoilers say Brook Lynn will get on the phone and force someone to accept a crucial assignment, so this could tie in with Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) rushed wedding request.

Then again, we also know Brook Lynn will speak on Chase’s behalf at the upcoming civilian complaint review board meeting, so her urgent phone call could relate to that somehow.

Regardless, Brook Lynn will make a significant choice while Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) grows increasingly worried about Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), who’s in Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) clutches.

On The Haunted Star, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will continue creating a diversion by keeping that knife on Liesl’s throat.

Victor is counting on Obrecht to use her expertise and immunize his inner circle against the pathogen he’s about to release.

Spencer will argue that if he kills Liesl, Victor’s plan can’t proceed.

Victor may not be impressed with Spencer’s antics and wonder who he thinks he’s kidding.

Spencer would never kill Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) beloved mother, so Victor may urge him to sit down and shut up.

Then again, there might be some part of Victor that approves of Spencer becoming more vicious like a good Cassadine should be.

That could give Victor hope that Spencer can still be the sinister heir he needs.

Whatever the case, Victor will move forward with his dangerous plan for now, so Spencer will fret over what the future holds.

Meanwhile, it looks like Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) may be able to radio for help, but that won’t solve their problems since the ship is moving rapidly.

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will seem determined after a phone call and announce that help is coming, but will it come fast enough?

At some point soon, Trina will try to sabotage the equipment in the engine room and slow The Haunted Star’s journey.

That way, the rescue team that’s forming can hopefully catch up.

In the meantime, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will plot a sneak attack on Victor and fight to get Trina out of his grasp.

Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will want Curtis to be careful, so Curtis may promise that he will be.

Curtis won’t think Victor’s going to anticipate his next move, so he’ll have the element of surprise on his side.

General Hospital spoilers say Curtis will fight hard to reunite Trina and Portia, so stick with us for updates on his bold moves.
