General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, July 14, indicates that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will feel defeated after that shoplifting incident, so she’ll acknowledge her mistake and fear now isn’t the right time to end the guardianship.
That’ll be music to Gladys Corbin’s (Bonnie Burroughs) ears, but she’ll be keeping a major secret from Sasha.
Gladys is a huge part of why Sasha was prescribed risky new meds since she teamed up with shady Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder).
Since Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) got an alarming voicemail, he’ll rush over to see Sasha ASAP.
Gladys will shut the door on Cody and try to keep him out of the picture, but we’ll see if Sasha might override Gladys and allow the visit anyway.
Regardless, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will be deeply troubled over Sasha’s blunder and how it’s going to affect her guardianship.
It looks like Sasha will be determined to take responsibility by informing the court, which could cause a significant delay in taking charge of her life again.
At GH, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will have some positive updates since Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is still alive following his surgery.
Curtis’ doctors nearly lost him on the operating table, but TJ will assure Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and all Curtis’ other loved ones that he’s a fighter.
Trina was terrified over the possibility that Curtis might perish so soon after learning he was her biological father. Once TJ delivers good news, Trina will breathe a huge sigh of relief.
Curtis could be paralyzed and face difficult life changes depending on how his recovery plays out, but he survived – and that’s what matters right now!
Next, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will push for answers from Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), who summoned him out of concern for Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and the path she’s headed down.
Alexis may bring Sonny up to speed on Kristina’s desire to be Molly Lansing-Davis’ (currently played by Holiday Mia Kriegel) surrogate and hope he can talk her out of the idea.
Although it’d be a nice gesture, Alexis doesn’t think Kristina has fully considered all the consequences that could result from a massive, rushed decision like this one.
Meanwhile, Kristina will find herself feeling rebuffed, so Molly may keep her sister at a distance.
When Kristina tries to figure out what’s wrong, Molly might admit she eavesdropped on her surrogate suggestion and was overwhelmed by it.
Down by the docks, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will lash out at someone for scaring her – and that someone will apparently be Mac Scorpio (John J. York).
It appears Mac had the same idea to spy on Cody since he’s also on edge about Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) hold on him.
Mac will come clean to Sam and perhaps admit he’s worried Selina will get Cody in serious trouble.
Once Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) meets up with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), he’ll give her some hope about potentially uncovering the mysterious threat.
Anna won’t think they have much to go on, but Dante will fill her in on some surprising new developments.
General Hospital spoilers say Dante will have a theory about the Metro Court pool incident and who was behind it, so Anna will be eager to hear what his gut is telling him.
