General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, March 31, teases that Ava Jerome (Maura West) will speak to Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) about her past crimes, but Esme will promise she’s not that person anymore.
GH fans know Esme claims she only wants to be a good mother and set a positive example for Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay).
Of course, Ava may have a hard time buying the idea that Esme has shed her scheming snakeskin.
Regardless, Ava will rant about Esme working with Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) to ruin her marriage and will wonder how Esme’s going to make things right.
When Ava asks where Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is, Esme may insist she doesn’t know and doesn’t care.
If it were up to Esme, Spencer would just stay out of the picture indefinitely.
However, Spencer is quite protective of his little brother and has called another meeting with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) as a result.
On Friday’s show, Victor will need Spencer to give him verbal confirmation on the fate he wants for Esme.
Will Spencer tell Victor to cook up the necessary proof or do something far worse – like bring a deadly end to their Esme problems?
Whatever the case, Spencer may have a little angel and devil on his shoulder here.
The Cassadine part of Spencer is ruthless, but the softer part that loves Trina may hold him back.
Over with Ava again, she may get updates on Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) serving as Ace’s pediatrician.
Austin might admit Esme seems like a decent mom despite her mountain of past mistakes.
Naturally, Ava and Austin have more pressing problems to contend with – like what they’re going to do about Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) and all his threats.
At the safe house, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will consider evacuating, but Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will advise against it.
Sonny will think moving to an alternate location would bring too much risk.
After Sonny insists it would seal Valentin and Anna’s deadly fates, they may agree to stay right where they were – at least for now.
After Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) shows up at the Quartermaine gatehouse, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will face a health setback.
It’ll bring some scary news and force a surprising duo to leap into action.
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will act like Nina’s done something wrong, but she should quickly see that Nina’s just trying to help.
In the end, Carly and Nina will join forces for a good cause, so they’ll both step up in Willow’s time of need.
As for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), she’ll get a warning from Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner).
Felicia may fear they haven’t seen the last of Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) Nurses Ball meddling.
Sure enough, Lucy will ambush Maxie all over again and get scolded for it.
Unfortunately, the situation is now an extremely dire one since Victor knows Lucy’s alive and will be looking for her.
Felicia may warn Lucy about that, so that might be why Lucy is alarmed on Friday’s episode.
Even so, Lucy surely won’t let a little Victor terror get in the way of all her party planning.
