General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, May 12, teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have a strategy session and refuse to end it until a certain matter is resolved. Since doing business with Pikeman is proving to be riskier than Sonny thought, he may insist that his new terms must be honored.
Sonny definitely wants to find out who sent the sniper after him in that warehouse, so that’s a priority at the moment.
This is a dangerous situation all around, so Sonny will want to make sure he stays on guard.
Of course, Sonny doesn’t know that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) scored video evidence that could send him to prison – nor does he realize Dex did it because Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) hired him for a takedown mission.
Dex got the proof and thought this would all be over soon, but Michael’s upcoming decision will let him know that’s not true.
Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) has practically been begging Michael to call off this vengeful plot, so it looks like Michael will have some bad news for Dex!
After Michael updates Dex on his decision not to move forward with Sonny’s downfall, Dex will flip out since this will severely limit his options.
All Dex wants to do is enjoy his life and romance with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), but Michael’s reversal will force him to either vanish or just keep working for Sonny indefinitely.
Dex will struggle to know what to do, but Michael may feel like Dex dug this hole for himself by developing feelings for Josslyn when he wasn’t supposed to.
Speaking of Josslyn, she’ll have a little chat with Willow through the protective barrier at GH. Willow may express hope that Michael will do the right thing when it comes to Sonny and preserving his family bonds.
Josslyn will also catch up with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and ask how long something will take, so that may be about Willow’s bone marrow transplant now that it’s moving forward.
Naturally, Josslyn might also have questions about Carly and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) SEC situation, which Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will offer a warning about.
Diane isn’t one to sugarcoat things, so she’ll express a bleak outlook and prepare Drew as well as Carly for things to head downhill even further.
Although Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will be ecstatic over Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) homecoming, he’ll acknowledge that there was tension between them before Liesl got snatched.
Now Scott will hope Obrecht’s willing to move past all the conflict so they can celebrate this reunion and count their blessings.
Liesl won’t seem too happy to see Scott at first, but he’ll keep fighting for their future together.
Over with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), GH spoilers say she’ll confide in Ava Jerome (Maura West) as she considers her next move.
Nina will feel like telling Willow the truth about her SEC blunder might be for the best, but Ava may urge Nina to take this secret to her grave – or at least try to!
That said, Ava has already warned Nina about the possibility of the secret unraveling, so she may worry all this could blow up for Nina no matter what.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina could lose Sonny and her second chance with Willow once this blunder inevitably explodes, so stay tuned.
