General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, August 7, indicates that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will take Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) for her swim lesson, but they’ll both find themselves missing Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) afterward.
When Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) comes along, she’ll make an insensitive comment about Scout’s dad being in the slammer and rile Sam up in the process.
After Gladys declines a call from Ferncliff, she’ll face Sam’s questions about Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and what caused her to go off the rails out of the blue.
At Ferncliff, Sasha will still be in a haze thanks to all the drugging and gaslighting Dr. Damon Montague’s (Darin Toonder) been doing.
Although Sasha will feel like she’s forgetting something significant, Nurse Mandy (Daisy Wang) may suggest it’s common for patients in her position to not remember everything.
As for Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), he’ll assure Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) that he has no intention of pressing charges against Sasha, but he’ll need a favor.
Since Gladys didn’t put Cody on the list of visitors who could see Sasha at Ferncliff, he’ll push her lawyer to help him out.
Unfortunately, Diane will insist it’s not her call, so Cody will have to find another way to bend the rules.
GH spoilers say Cody will try to flirt with the nurses and do everything he can to get back to Sasha’s room, but that plan won’t work either.
In the end, Cody will decide his best bet is to plead with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and see if she’ll help him sneak in.
Now that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is back in Port Charles, he’ll reach out to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) for Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) sake.
Spencer should appreciate hearing some updates regarding his grandmother, but he’ll probably be annoyed over the idea of Laura checking up on him through Valentin.
However, Spencer will suggest a pact that involves them both staying out of trouble. Valentin might get on board, but it’s wishful thinking for Cassadines to avoid danger and tight spots!
During a meeting with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will bring up Pikeman and some information from a briefing session she once had in London.
Anna will compare notes with Robert on this shady security group and become quite nervous about Valentin’s link to them.
At the Metro Court, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have an important discussion with Brick (Stephen A. Smith) about letting someone live until they get their hands on a body.
It seems Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) could be a goner eventually, but not before he leads Brick and Sonny to Nikolas Cassadine’s (last played by Adam Huss) corpse.
Naturally, there’s a problem with this plan since Nikolas survived his ordeal at Wyndemere and remains on life support under Mason’s care.
While Sonny and Brick strategize, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will stop Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) from making some big spiel.
Instead, Olivia will want to make a spiel of her own, so this will lead to her delivering a proposal of some sort to Nina.
It’s possible Olivia will consider selling her portion of the Metro Court, but a less drastic deal might be a better option.
Olivia might be sick of bickering with Nina constantly, so she could propose a new truce that’d make daily life easier for them both.
Then again, Olivia’s proposition might involve some way to help “Eddie Maine” aka Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) since Nina has sort of befriended him.
Whatever the case, General Hospital spoilers say Olivia will make an intriguing pitch to Nina, so stay tuned for news on what she wants and whether Nina will agree.
