General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, March 13, teases that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will have to cover now that Mac Scorpio (John J. York) has found the DNA test results. In the stables, Cody will fib about selling plasma to make some extra cash, so Mac will buy it since he won’t look too closely.
When Mac assumes Cody is stuck in a dire financial situation, he’ll want to help if he can.
However, Cody will feel like Mac has more important things to worry about and will urge him to focus on smoothing things over in his friendship with Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom).
Once Mac leaves, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will show up and keep pushing until he pries the real story out of Cody.
Since Cody will be such an emotional wreck, Dante will get him to crack under the pressure and reveal the secret he’s been keeping.
Cody lied about the paternity test results, but it was all for nothing since the necklace has trying to inherit is gone anyway.
Now Cody feels trapped since being honest might push Mac away and destroy the bond they’ve been building.
Dante will get updates on the jam Cody’s gotten himself into, but he’ll think the truth will set his buddy free.
Although Dante will leave the decision in Cody’s hands, he’ll really hope that Cody makes the right one and comes clean to Mac.
In the meantime, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will warn Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) of the trouble that’s about to strike Port Charles.
Big things are happening regarding Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and his imminent downfall, but Laura will worry about complications.
One of those complications will come in the form of Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) pitch.
Drew will talk to Laura about the shares that Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain) inherited from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and hope they can strike a deal.
Although Drew wants to use those shares to give Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) the majority at ELQ, he’ll hit a huge roadblock.
Laura won’t be very receptive to Drew’s idea since she knows Valentin isn’t actually deceased and will expect to control those shares when he returns.
At GH, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will have some bad news for Victor, so she’ll announce that she scored an immunity deal and ratted Victor out along with Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss).
Liz will assume the cops will be looking for Victor and will want to question him about his role in the cover up.
Victor will get agitated as he grabs Elizabeth and tries to continue the conversation, but she’ll be sure to put him in his place.
Next, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will point out that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) wanted a chance at revenge, so she won’t see why Nina isn’t leaping into action against Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) now that she knows about the insider trading.
Nina may admit it’s tempting, but she’ll have a lot of factors to consider since making a move against Carly would anger Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and even Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
At Carly’s house, she’ll quiz Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) about the plan that her daughter mentioned.
Joss hinted about Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) having a specific mob departure strategy, but it doesn’t seem like Josslyn will spill much more – at least not yet.
Despite Carly’s push for details, Josslyn will want her mom to accept that Dex knows what he’s doing and that it’ll all work out.
Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zemand) will have a tender conversation with Josslyn at some point, so she may have some advice about problematic romances and how to tell if the benefits outweigh the risks.
At the warehouse, General Hospital spoilers say Dex will warn Sonny that they need to make a break for it.
Now that Dex has saved Sonny from a sniper, Sonny will repay the favor by saving Dex on the way out.
Dex may see Sonny in a new light after going through something so harrowing as a team.
