General Hospital Update: Monday, March 6 – Liesl’s Plea to Willow – Sonny’s Reasons To Celebrate - Spencer Loses To Esme

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, March 6, teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be in a good mood as he meets up with Ava Jerome (Maura West) for a chat.

There’ll be some good reasons for Sonny to celebrate since Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is a bone marrow match for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) – and that means Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) daughter has a chance to live.

Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) will deliver some final test results soon, which will confirm Obrecht can be Willow’s bone marrow donor.

Willow will express her gratitude and have a tender conversation with Liesl at GH soon enough.

Obrecht will talk about looking at a situation differently and will be thankful that she can give Willow the gift of life.

Of course, Liesl will hope that Willow makes the most of that gift and perhaps finds it in her heart to welcome Nina into the picture.

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will be eager to get the show on the road when it comes to this bone marrow transplant, so he’ll be on board with some Willow and Nina bonding if that’s what it takes.

Although Liesl won’t force Willow into anything, she’ll make her wishes known – and that could be enough to guilt-trip Willow into connecting with Nina eventually.

Until then, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will sit by Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) bedside and confess to helping Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) hold her hostage in Wyndemere’s north tower.

If Esme believes that entitles her to an apology, she’ll be wrong about that! Elizabeth won’t believe she owes Esme anything at all – not after the way she targeted Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and those closest to him.

After Elizabeth makes it clear where she stands, she’ll face Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) wrath for betraying Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss).

Victor will threaten Liz once he learns she sang like a canary to save herself.

Next, Monday’s episode will bring a major change in Esme’s point of view.

Esme previously considered Elizabeth to be a kindhearted nurse, so this perception shift could be related to her.

On the other hand, Esme’s memory flood could happen any day now. It’s possible Esme will remember what she’s missing and get her world rocked.

As for Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay), Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) just informed Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) that the baby wasn’t going anywhere.

Spencer will be confused since he fully expected to take Ace back to Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) place, but Esme will score a win for now.

Laura will think this offers an opportunity to reevaluate the plan, but Spencer will insist his baby brother belongs with him.

Diane will argue that Esme disagrees, so she’s apparently blocked Spencer’s latest move.

It sounds like Esme will be able to keep Ace by her side – and whatever Spencer suggests as a counterstrategy will only make things worse in Diane’s opinion.

Back with Ava, she’ll talk to Sonny about some of her problems, so will she fill him in on Nikolas and the tack room mayhem?

Sonny might learn Ava’s version of what went down that night – or maybe he’ll hear a vague account with the details edited.

Regardless, GH fans know comatose Nikolas is being kept alive through life support.

Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) is the one in charge of Nikolas, so he’ll use this knowledge to his advantage somehow.

After Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) reminds Mason that he washed his hands of mob drama, he’ll refuse to get sucked back in.

Mason may suggest they’ll see about that and drop a Nikolas-related bomb.

Whether Austin finds out Nikolas is alive or not, he’ll realize Mason has leverage.

Mason will inevitably use Nikolas’ ordeal to make demands – and if Austin doesn’t comply, there’ll be more trouble for Ava.

At The Invader, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will push Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) to come clean about his deception.

Gregory is obviously sick with something quite serious, so we’ll see if Alexis pries the truth out of him.

General Hospital spoilers say Alexis will do her best to listen and understand, so stay tuned for updates on Gregory’s private battle and bad news.
