General Hospital Update: Monday, October 2 – Gladys’ Downfall, Sneaky Trap and Charlotte SOS Call

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, October 2, reveals that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will summon Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) to his new home and make sure whatever they talk about will be covered under attorney-client privilege – even if they discuss somebody else.

Martin will suggest it depends on who that somebody is, so Valentin will admit he’s talking about his daughter.

Since Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) future depends on this discussion, there’ll be a lot riding on what Valentin tells Martin and how they choose to proceed.

Once Valentin feels safe to open up, he’ll apparently confess that Charlotte has been tormenting Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

Valentin obviously doesn’t want Charlotte to land in legal hot water if he can help it, but he may acknowledge that she needs some sort of mental help.

In Switzerland, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will ignore Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) warning about Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) not wanting her to locate him.

Laura will feel like she has to track Nikolas down anyway and will push Kevin to back her up on this.

Unfortunately, Kevin and Laura’s search will be derailed by a phone call, so could it be from Valentin regarding Charlotte?

Laura might get an SOS call since Charlotte could use her grandmother right about now.

It’s even possible Charlotte will overhear Valentin contemplating a mental health facility at some point and disappear as a result.

If that’s true, Charlotte might run off with Jake Webber (Hudson West) and leave Valentin panicked in the coming episodes.

Whatever the case, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will continue to mull over concerns about Valentin, Pikeman and his secretive behavior lately.

Anna will be prepared to do something drastic to get to the bottom of all this, so she’ll confide in Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and take action.

Next, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will get confirmation over the phone that the trap he’s setting is going according to plan.

Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) are going down, so it’s just a matter of putting all the pieces in place for their downfall.

Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will pick the lock of Gladys’ house – though she’ll point out that it’s actually Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) house and that Gladys is just a greedy moocher.

While Sam and Gladys are fighting, Sonny will show up and hear accusations on both sides.

Naturally, Sonny will believe Sam, especially since Gladys will be spouting nonsense about Sam having an affair with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly).

Sonny will want Gladys to give it a rest and will reveal that he knows about her betraying Sasha in the worst possible way.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) already gave Sonny updates on most of Gladys’ disturbing moves, so Sam will just pile on the despicable news and rile Sonny up even more.

Gladys was planning on escaping to Puerto Rico and avoiding punishment, but Sonny will speak with her alone and announce the payback he has in mind.

At Ferncliff, Sasha will finally get out of those restraints she’s been locked up in, so Nurse Janice (Lauren Swickard) might come through for her.

Sasha will plot revenge on Dr. Montague, who’ll be arrogant as he deals with the cops at the PCPD.

Dr. Montague will be certain that he’ll see someone around Port Charles, so he’ll imply that he’s going to keep his freedom.

Nevertheless, General Hospital spoilers say Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will do everything he can to make sure Dr. Montague goes down for his crimes, so stay tuned.
