General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, March 9, teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will make a discovery that leaves him unsettled. When Sonny spies Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) hanging around Selina Wu (Lydia Look), he’ll corner Gladys and push for answers.
Since Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will unleash her wrath before the week’s over, Sonny may figure out that Gladys is drowning in gambling debts.
Sonny should eventually get updates on Gladys’ disastrous poker games and how she’s using Sasha’s guardianship to dig herself out of trouble.
Meanwhile, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will swear Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur) to secrecy after their hot night together.
Eileen may walk away with more information for Victor’s takedown team, but she’d better watch her back!
Victor could murder Eileen if he finds out about her betrayal, but he’s not the only threat.
Once Eileen is no longer useful to Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), they may let her face full legal consequences.
Until then, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will have another meeting with Deputy Mayor Ashby.
Eileen may wonder how long Laura has been manipulating her, so Laura will talk about waiting until the deputy mayor could be the most beneficial as a secret weapon.
Next, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will get some alarming news, so that should come during a conversation with Anna and Felicia. There’ll be something related to this whole Victor investigation that leaves Lucy dismayed.
Other GH spoilers say Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will turn down what will most likely be a wedding present from Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
That should lead to Curtis spilling the story about Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) deception and Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) potential paternity twist.
Since Trina doesn’t want a DNA test and is unwilling to make room in her life for another dad, Curtis may admit he’s having a hard time.
Nina understands that same feeling of rejection due to what’s happening with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and will be there for Curtis as a result.
As for Trina, she’ll confide in Ava Jerome (Maura West) at the gallery, so she should unload all her emotions regarding Portia’s lies and Curtis’ desire to know the bio dad truth.
Trina is also dealing with some big shifts in her relationship with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) since they locked lips, but now there’s Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) custody chaos to contend with.
Although Trina will hope for some words of wisdom, Ava won’t be able to make any major choices for her.
The best Ava can do is remind Trina to look within and make the right decisions for herself.
At Charlie’s Pub, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will come up with an idea during her conversation with Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) – one that’ll involve being helpful in Maxie’s eyes.
Maxie might have some plan to push Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) closer since she doesn’t know how close they really are.
It’s also possible Maxie will help Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) connect since they’ll meet up for a bonding session by the end of the week.
Maxie may think she’s doing a good deed by facilitating a friendship, but she doesn’t know Cody tricked Mac regarding the DNA test and really is his son.
