General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, May 23, teases that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will come close to admitting she’s to blame for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) SEC predicament, but Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will shut down her confession.
Sonny will make it clear that there’s nothing in Nina’s history that could make him stop loving her.
Although Nina will initially hesitate on accepting Sonny’s marriage proposal, he’ll push her to come around on the idea of tying the knot.
While Nina and Sonny get engaged, Carly will assure Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) that she doesn’t blame her for what Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) did – or at least what she believes Ned did!
However, Carly will continue to fume over the situation and secretly hope to thwart Ned’s plan with some dirt on Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).
At the Metro Court, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will talk to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) about his romantic future and whether he can move beyond Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) bad decisions.
Elsewhere, Tracy’s recent lunch with Chase will stir up more drama.
When Brook Lynn finds out that Tracy has been harassing Chase about a potential reunion with her granddaughter, she’ll blow her top.
Brook Lynn will wish Tracy would’ve stayed out of this, but Tracy may argue that BLQ was the one who sought help getting Chase’s badge back.
Since Brook Lynn involved her anyway, Tracy will feel like she was entitled to meet with Chase and try to do them both a favor.
That said, Tracy won’t really understand what Brook Lynn sees in Chase at this point.
After Tracy encourages Brook Lynn to find someone better, Chase will track Brook Lynn down and do something quite romantic.
The good detective’s grand gesture will catch Brook Lynn off guard and perhaps give her the second chance with Chase that she’s been waiting for.
Unfortunately, all Brook Lynn’s secret scheming with Tracy could come back to bite her sooner or later.
At the boxing gym, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will rip into Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) for pushing Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) buttons and will urge her boyfriend to promote peace instead.
Dex will eventually head to the steam room, so that may be where he’ll try to relax after Spencer gets under his skin.
A mystery woman appears in Tuesday’s GH preview video wearing a towel, so it’s possible it’ll be Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) or someone besides Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) who greets Dex.
However, the voice certainly seems to match up with Josslyn using her best seductive tone. Joss may get playful with Dex and help him steam all his troubles away – at least for now.
General Hospital spoilers say Josslyn will also share some scenes with Trina, so they’ll exchange updates on their boyfriend problems and tricky family news.
