General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, April 26, teases that Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) will finish recapping what she learned from Ethan Lovett (James Ryan), so that could bring some pathogen clues and growing concerns about Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) next steps.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will worry Laura Collins (Genie Francis), Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) might be headed for a trap, so she’ll relay her fears to Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and get him to do some digging.
There’s a bunker near Greenland that contains the pathogen Victor wants to release on a global level, so he’ll take a moment to celebrate as he arrives at the door and prepares for what’s in store.
Meanwhile, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will be stuck waiting on Victor nearby. That’ll lead to Trina insisting they can’t let the pathogen land in Victor’s possession.
Trina and Spencer might try to create another diversion, but that’d be awfully risky since they’re already on thin ice with Victor.
Then again, Liesl was adamant about still needing Spencer and Trina as guinea pigs, so that may save them if they get on Victor’s bad side with a failed scheme.
Whatever the case, Trina and Spencer will land in a tight spot while Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) deals with drama back in Port Charles.
There’ll be some sort of crisis that arises before the wedding, so Maxie will give Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) updates on the setback.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will show their support, so they may come to Maxie’s rescue once this tricky situation arises.
At the Quartermaine gatehouse, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will remain concerned about Drew now that he’s headed off to find Victor and the hostages.
We’ll see Carly distract herself by helping Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) get ready for the marriage ceremony.
Willow will get her glam on and feel like a wedding princess, but she’ll quickly suspect Carly and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) have a secret.
That could involve something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue since it’s tradition for the bride to accept a few gifts before the nuptials.
At Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) penthouse, he’ll realize Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is hanging up following a call with Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight).
That’ll leave Sonny curious about Nina’s reasons for talking to her attorney.
Nina will keep Sonny in the dark on her decision to turn Carly and Drew in for insider trading, but you can bet this secret will come out at some point down the road.
In the meantime, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will think it’s good that Nina did the right thing, so she may initially suspect Nina listened to Sonny and let her resentment go.
Of course, GH fans know Nina is going after revenge instead, so Ava may ultimately sense that this has something to do with the insider trading secret and fear bad news is brewing.
General Hospital spoilers say Ava will hit Nina with a harsh reality and some stern words of wisdom soon, so stay tuned.
