General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, July 5, indicates that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will deliver a surprising proposal. It looks like Tracy will offer a shady deal to Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight), who’ll have to decide whether he’s on board.
That’ll surely connect to all the Deception drama, so Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) could be on the verge of uncovering some shocking revelations.
Felicia will likely spy on Martin’s meeting with Tracy and try to figure out exactly what they’re up to.
Meanwhile, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will realize there’s a thief at Deception, so she’ll hurl accusations at Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) since confidential information was lifted off her computer.
Maxie will rush to her own defense since she can look at that info whenever she likes.
It doesn’t make sense for Maxie to be the traitor here, so Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will pipe up that she’s the one responsible.
However, Brook Lynn will create a cover story about wanting to know more about The Deceptor and other crucial products they’re selling.
Since Brook Lynn will spin it like she just wanted to be a better employee, she should get by with her actions.
Brook Lynn will act like she didn’t know there were private details in the files that needed to be kept under wraps, so she’ll get away with her betrayal for now.
At some point on Wednesday’s GH episode, Brook Lynn will catch up with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and seek confirmation on something.
That could tie in with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) finally being in the clear now that the charges have been dropped.
Sasha may also offer updates on her push to end her guardianship, but viewers know Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) are about to make a mess of things with their risky prescription plan.
Over with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), she’ll question if Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) can really put the past to rest.
Is Carly truly willing to let her feud with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) go for Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) sake?
Carly would do just about anything for Willow, so she’ll at least be willing to try.
The same goes for Nina, especially since Willow’s about to grant her wish to be in her daughter’s life.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will insist Nina shouldn’t rule out the idea of being close with Willow one day – particularly after Willow extends an olive branch.
Willow will invite Nina to be part of her bubble at the gatehouse, so she can welcome Willow home as long as she plays nice with Carly.
Nina will do whatever it takes and hope this is a sign that things are moving in the right direction.
Unfortunately, Nina’s SEC tipoff secret could destroy what she’s finally starting to build with Willow, so she’ll have to fret over that shocker coming to light and costing her everything.
Back with Tracy, she’ll demand Diane Miller’s (Carolyn Hennesy) attention, so this could relate to Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) mental state.
Since Ned believes he’s “Eddie Maine” and wants nothing to do with his family, Tracy might wonder about their legal options and whether Ned can be committed.
At the Metro Court pool, Cody’s guilt will take a toll, but he’ll mask it with an outburst.
GH fans know Cody is still lying to Mac Scorpio (John J. York) about the DNA results and is now moving forward with a fraudulent lawsuit.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will offer to help Cody climb out of the hole he’s digging for himself, but Cody will snap at him and suggest he doesn’t need Dante to come to his rescue.
