General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, May 24, teases that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will seethe as she dwells on the news that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) are getting married.
Carly just overheard that shocker at the Metro Court, but she’ll still be irritated over it once she’s back in her kitchen at home.
However, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will meet with Carly and offer a distraction – though it won’t be a pleasant one.
Carly will do some strategizing with Diane regarding the insider trading case, but Diane won’t have any possibilities that her client’s really going to approve of.
Diane will give Carly a warning, so she may push her to remember what’s at stake and focus on keeping herself out of prison.
Carly won’t be willing to turn against Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to save herself, but Diane may think she should seriously consider the idea.
After Nina and Sonny fill Ava Jerome (Maura West) in on their engagement, she’ll be caught off guard.
Ava will manage to wish the happy couple well, but she’ll secretly scold Nina for digging a bigger hole for herself.
Since Ava knows Nina’s the one who tipped off the SEC, she’ll warn Nina that her bright future with Sonny will fall apart if that secret comes to light.
Other GH spoilers say Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will be unusually quiet when Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) pushes for opinion on something.
Alexis knows more than Sam at this point regarding Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Haley Pullos) health situation, so she may not know how much she should spill.
Molly is suffering from endometriosis and probably can’t get pregnant due to the severity of her condition.
As Molly continues trying to cope with Dr. Sofia Navarro’s (Christine Ferraro) updates, she’ll tell TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) that it’s too late for something.
Molly will hold herself responsible, but TJ will work to ease her mind. None of this is Molly’s fault – and there’s plenty of time to plan their family using less traditional methods.
At GH, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will talk to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) about something important.
After Portia acknowledges her mistakes, she may thank Jordan for trying to steer her down the path of honesty with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).
Portia chose not to listen, but she now sees that Jordan was right to warn her about everything blowing up in her face.
It seems likely Portia will mention Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) during this discussion as well.
Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) figured out that Jordan must’ve caused the elevator drama that gave Portia a chance to bring Oz out of his coma so he could testify in court.
Portia may voice her gratitude since Jordan truly cares about Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and did her part to help during the trial.
At the boxing gym, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will confide in Drew and worry that maybe he threw in the towel on his marriage too fast.
Drew may push Curtis to follow his heart and trust that it’ll tell him what the future holds.
General Hospital spoilers hint that Curtis will give Portia another chance soon, so stay tuned to see if they can fix their relationship.
