In tonight’s Grey’s Anatomy episode, the interns have finally moved into their own rooms. However, Simone wasn’t getting any better sleep out of it. She could still hear Lucas from her room and he’s taken to bringing random women home. Lucas was getting some payback after Simone dropped him.

They were close to becoming a thing when she suddenly put a stop to it in order to get back together with her ex-boyfriend. She also got engaged to Trevor on the same night that she had made out with Lucas. It therefore made every bit of sense that Lucas wasn’t okay right now. And sleeping with women he just met might be his way of getting over Simone.

But it did make things awkward for Simone. She couldn’t tell Lucas to keep it down. She didn’t want it to seem like she was judging him. She also couldn’t block out the noise on her own because he was really loud and even Mika noticed. Mika mentioned it to Lucas by the. She waited until they were all at the lunch table with the other interns to bring it up.

Mika was a bit of a blabbermouth. She proved that on day one when she literally told everyone about Jules’s sex life. And so Mika was the one friend that couldn’t keep a secret.

Mika had been rooting for Lucas and Simon. Or she was until Trevor showed up because now she wants to live out her dream of finally officiating a wedding. She doesn’t know either Trevor or Simone that well, but she still wants to officiate the wedding. She asked Simone if she could and Simone had turned her down.

Not that Mika was letting that stop her from keep on asking. And so it’s a good thing that Mika and Simone soon found themselves too busy to discuss weddings when they met Barbara.

Barbara was Amelia’s patient. She came in with what looks like a tumor. Amelia has to do surgery first and then they have to run a biopsy. It might not be cancerous. Barbara’s family however were hoping it was. Barbara has three sisters. Two are living and one was dead. They all had cancer.

They started up a “Cancer Club”. The sister that died had survived cancer only to fall off a ladder. Her remains were also being carried around by her sisters. They said they couldn’t leave her on her own or else she’ll miss all the action. And they even ordered coffee for their sister’s urn.

Mika had thought that was the strangest thing she’s ever seen. She still got the coffee, but it was strange and Simone was able to cheer her up by saying it wouldn’t matter if she got the coffee wrong because its not like a dead woman can complain. It was the other sisters that were annoying.

They were so happy that Barbara could be joining their little club that they failed to see how scared their little sister was. They were just too close. They thought they were reassuring Barbara by saying its alright if the doctor makes mistakes because the doctors told Paula she could never eat spicy foods again and she eats eggs with hot sauce everyday.

The doctors forgot to put the other one’s nipple back on after she had surgery for breast cancer. They told Barbara everything and Amelia could see for herself that Barbara wanted a little space from her sisters. She asked Amelia to make sure her sisters don’t get to carry her around in a box if she dies during surgery. Amelia, who has sisters, of her own assured Barbara that nothing was going to happen. Surgery was going to be successful. Amelia has been feeling a little cramped at her new place since Maggie came to stay with her and so Barbara wasn’t the only one needed personal space.

Blue probably needed that as well after he passed out during surgery. Blue and Lucas both got to sit in on Catherine performing surgery to fix someone’s erectile dysfunction. They were all laughs about it until Blue saw the needle go you know where and it freaked him out. He passed out. Lucas had to leave surgery to drag him out of there. So, Blue was never living this one down. He embarrassed himself in front of the person that literally controls the hospital. And Catherine had showed everyone how annoyed she was by his behavior.

Catherine’s patient hadn’t wanted to tell his wife that he was getting surgery. He didn’t want her to know about his problem and so it was a surprise when his wife later showed up at the hospital. Gerald must have forgotten that she’s the one that deals with their insurance. She knew he had a problem. She even knew that he was fixing it and she hadn’t told him that she knew because she wanted him to come to her with the news. She only came by the hospital to check up on him. And she left without telling him she was there because she didn’t want to hurt his pride.

Catherine learned a little lesson by watching Gerald’s wife. It made her see that she needed to be willing to put aside her own pride to talk to Richard. Richard was already having a hard day because he lost a patient. Natalia died. She died after they tried to do everything for her and her death was hitting everyone. It affected Jules. It affected Blue. It even seemed to sadden Mika and she hadn’t been one of Natalia’s doctors. And so the last thing Richard probably needed to hear was that his wife’s cancer was spreading.

But at least the rest of the hospital got some good news. Owen also got his license back and he was going back to his old position as Chief of Trauma. And Schmitt was so happy that a new kid took over as the embarrassment because now he doesn’t get to be “Glasses” anymore.

Maggie meanwhile offered to move and Amelia told her she didn’t have to because they remain sisters. It doesn’t matter if Meredith was around or not. They will always be sisters.

THE END!
