Tonight on FOX their Gordon Ramsay culinary competition series Hell’s Kitchen airs with an all-new Thursday, February 2, 2023, season 21 episode 12 and we have your Hell’s Kitchen recap below. At dinner service, each chef takes turns running the pass while Chef Ramsay tests their attention to detail with sabotages. One chef will not survive the test.”

In tonight’s Hell’s Kitchen episode, there are four chefs remaining after Cheyenne was sent home last week. Dafne shares that she had to fight for her life. Sommer thinks the whole thing was foul.
The four meet with Chef Ramsay. It’s picture time. He has them take their pictures on the red carpet. Chef Ramsay teaches them that the right photo of their dish can really get their attention. He wants them to make a seafood dish that can be featured in Entertainment Weekly. They have 45 minutes. Sommer is doing a snapper while Alex is working on bass while Dafne is going with Lobster.
An editor from EW arrives to taste their dishes. He likes Alex’s dish. It is pretty and tasty. Sommer impresses as well. Alejandro gets a lot of attention for his seafood dish with its sauce and colors. Dafne brings up her plate. She also gets approval. Her dish is colorful and represents the ocean. The editor chooses Dafne. She also gets a luxurious day planned for her. Chef Ramsay is sending her on a shopping spree. She chooses Alex to go with her. Sommer and Alejandro will stay behind to pound butter.
Alex and Dafne shop at American Rag. Sommer and Alejandro keep working on their butter. Alex and Dafne head to lunch. They talk about who will win. Later, back at Hell’s, Alex walks in on Dafne yelling at Chef Ramsay!
Chef Ramsay comes out and tells Alex he is running the kitchen. He then tells Alex to tell him he has Beene to London and his food sucks. All get the yelling now. The chef coaches them all about yelling. It’s off to kick off dinner service.
The guests all arrive. Alejandro begins. He catches the wrong rice about to go out. Chef is happy. Alejandro also sees the wrong steak but misses the wrong lentils plated.
Sommer is up next. She misses the wrong appetizer. Alex gets behind on risotto. Chef gets annoyed with Alex’s slowness. Sommer catches the wrong fish. Chef commends her. It’s Alex’s turn. He catches his first sabotage. Then another. Chef switches lamb with venison. Alex misses it.
Dafne is up next. She misses an entree count and smiles. Chef tells her not to smile. Dafne loses control of a bit of the sequence of dishes. Sommer talks over her. They all notice. Dafne reigns it back in. Chef dismisses them. He needs to decide who is staying and who will go.
The four sit and talk about how they handled it and felt about each other. They are called back to see Chef. He tells them only 3 will move on. They all point out why they should stay. Dafne thinks she brings good vibes, Alex feels he is driven, and Alejandro thinks he is a leader. Sommer thanks her and brings her leadership skills.
Alejandro is advancing. Alex has also made it and will move on. Chef announces the final chef to advance is…Dafne. Sommer is going home. Chef calls her forward and tells her she is the definition of a VIP. The three all celebrate.
