In tonight’s Law & Order SVU episode, there was a rapist paramedic on the loose. He was raping patients. Emma Dunn was in a car accident when an ambulance supposedly came to the rescue and the paramedic checked both cars. There were victims in both cars, but the paramedic went immediately for the woman. He ignored the two male victims. He dragged Emma out of the car with no care about possible spinal injuries or head wounds. He then raped her in the back of the ambulance and her fiancé witnessed the whole thing. The fiancé thought it was odd that the paramedic dragged Emma out like that. He went to go check on her. He saw her being raped and he tried to stop it.
Sadly, the guy was too injured to prevent what happened, but he did get a good look at the paramedic. The guy didn’t bother to cover his face. He also fled the scene without actually treating anyone and so that’s when people began suspecting this paramedic wasn’t really a paramedic. The fiancé still filed the rape with the actual authorities when those people arrived. Emma was told by her fiancé about what happened when she regained consciousness. She also noticed that her ring was missing.
It was a pricey ring. The fake paramedic probably stole it in addition to raping Emma on the night she got engaged. But the other car. The other car that was involved in the accident hadn’t called 911 because it was a rich teenager who planned on suing the paramedic. He thought the guy was negligent for not helping him. He took a photo of the guy’s license plate to prove this guy saw him and didn’t provide aid. He thought of a lawsuit in spite of his causing that accident after a night of drinking. The cops hadn’t seen him when they arrived at the scene. He was never given a breath analyzer and so he was escaping charges as well as looking for people to blame.
The kid handed over the photo to the cops when they came around asking about that night. The license plate was a bust because it was stolen. Only Detective Bruno was helping the Manhattan SVU on the case because he was auditioning them for a job and he noticed that the numbers on the ambulance had been peeled off and were still slightly visible. This indicated that it was either stolen or bought at auction. The cops looked into that ambulance. They found it had been bought by a supposed family man. George Kazilakis. He had a wife and kids. He worked at a car dealership. And yet this man was suspected of rape.
The rapist got off on Josh the fiancé being forced to watch. Josh the fiancé picked out George’s photo in a packet and so they arrested George because they thought he was the guy. However, he wasn’t the rapist. George had an alibi that night. He was hanging out with his mistress. His wife has been having George followed by her brother and she had photos of George with this woman that was time-stamped. George’s wife told them everything. They had just cleared him when suddenly there was a second rape with the same MO.
The fake paramedic was at it again. He arrived quickly on the scene of another car accident and he raped the woman that was driving. This woman was awake when it happened. She was able to fight the guy off in the middle of the rape and make her escape. It just seemed odd though that the paramedic would be that fast after two car accidents when he wasn’t a real paramedic. The cops checked the traffic camera. It turns out the rapist had rigged the lights to be green at the same time and so he was causing the accidents in order to go look for more victims.
The real paramedics have a device that allows them to change the traffic light from red to green. The fake one bought a device on eBay that allowed him to cause the accident and go look for women to rape. He later used that device a third time, but his victim at that time used her stun gun to fight him off before he could rape her and she screamed for help. Which drew the attention of her husband and some Good Samaritans who chased him away from his ambulance. And so he was on foot.
The cops were quick to the scene. They were able to catch up to the fake paramedic and he took a hostage when he saw that he was cornered. His name is Clark. Clark had a knife to a woman’s throat. He was demanding to see his wife. They’ve been married for over twenty years and he found out she was cheating on him. She was cheating on him with George. She wanted out of the marriage. Clark got upset and he started to blame women in general for his life. That’s when he started raping women. The wife was brought down to the scene and she was able to convince Clark to give himself up. She was also wearing Emma’s ring. Clark had given it to her as an “upgrade”.
And so they have Clark on rape as well as a homicide because it caused people to die in a car accident. He confessed to everything and the victims don’t have to get dragged through a trial.
But Benson gave the tape of Detective Velasco to Detective Muncy. She noticed those two were close and she wanted Muncy’s opinion on what she heard on the tape. Velasco claimed he committed murder. And now its up to Benson to prove if he was lying or if he really did kill someone.
