In tonight’s #Survivor episode, the Lulu tribe was in disarray. Hannah was a shocking early departure. People had pretty much turned on Emily by that point. Her whole tribe wanted her gone and so Hannah giving up has saved her for an additional week. But Emily was still on the outs with everyone.

She tried to backpedal tonight. She tried to apologize for her comments. Sabiyah wasn’t ready to listen to her. She was in her feelings. Emily was in her feelings. It also didn’t help that everyone was sad about Heather leaving. They really liked Heather. She was funny. She put people at ease. And if she hadn’t lost hope in the jungle, she could have been a serious threat in the game.

With Heather gone, the tribe simply went back to hating Emily. They wanted her gone. They’ve failed to win several challenges in large part due to Brandon. Brandon knows that he’s sinking the team. He doesn’t want to go home and so he was willing to join the others in doing their best to oust Emily.

He even betrayed Emily’s game plan to the others in a bid to excommunicate her. Brandon claims he’s in a lot of pain only that hasn’t stopped him from trying to manipulate people. Or playing the blame game.

The other tribes also had issues. The Belo tribe has Bruce. This returning member came with his own issues. The Reba tribe has Austin. Austin found the Beware Advantage. He couldn’t get the advantage until he solved the clue on it and he didn’t want to tell his tribe about it. He wanted to keep it for himself.

There was just one problem with doing so. He couldn’t vote until he solved the clue. He was trying to figure it out when Emily got the bright idea to start looking for the idol herself. Emily was hoping to win Immunity. The others figured it out and they came up with a plan.

They decided to follow Emily. They pretended to wanting to help her when really they were seeking to undermine her. Not that it worked. She saw right through them. She knew they were trying to stop her from getting the idol. She tried to get to it first. She failed. Brandon found a new Beware Advantage.

He told Sabiyah about it. He let Sabiyah be the one to open it because he’s a fan of the show and he didn’t want to risk losing his voting power. See, Brandon is sneaky. Brandon let Sabiyah open it and now she believes she can form an alliance with him without hurting her own game.

Sabiyah opened the Beware Advantage. She could have sworn she knew where the Idol was. She just couldn’t get to it. She believed it was in a certain tree and she didn’t know how to bring it down. She was also without voting power until she gets to the idol. With time being on her side, she told everyone but Emily about it. They tried to help her. They were doing this while Bruce was trying to play fun uncle. Bruce was being extra silly. He was trying to be everyone’s friend. He didn’t want to be seen as a threat and most of his tribe liked him too much to ever eliminate him.

It was Katurah who finally saw through him. She ignored the uncle jokes and focused on his need to tell everyone what to do as well as when to do it. It also didn’t help with his constant name dropping. Katurah alone saw him for the threat he was. She also knew she couldn’t get anyone’s help to take him down because he was simply too likeable right now. She then decided to wait. Later, a boat came by. The tribes could pick one member of their team to get on the boat and potentially win advantages. Bruce, Drew, and Brandon were chosen.

Emily wanted to go only she’s been talking to Kaleb. Kaleb has helped her see where she’s pushing people away. He agreed to help her and he made her see that she was too focused on the game rather than on the people around her. Emily then let Brandon go because she didn’t want to risk hurting her team. Brandon claimed to be the puzzle master. He and the other two went to an island. They were all told to play a matching game before solving a puzzle in the timeframe. Brandon and Bruce both failed. Drew on the other hand won the advantage.

Drew got power in which he has to give up his vote when played. Only he also gets to return to camp without being evicted. Drew’s tribemates welcomed him back when they saw him. They were so good to him that he decided to tell them the truth. The full truth. He told them he won the advantage. He also said that they could use it to save anyone in their tribe that gets in trouble. Drew’s loyalty to his tribe helped Austin to see that he can trust Drew. Austin later told him about the Beware Advantage.

Drew was now helping him to figure out the clues. They were building an alliance and so winning has helped open the door for Drew because now people want to work with him. The opposite was said of Bruce. Bruce came back with his failure and the daggers were out. The women on his tribe have ganged up and decided that they were going to oust the men before voting each other out. Bruce hadn’t known about that. Neither did any of the other guys. But secret alliances sometimes don’t work out.

Brandon’s tribe was starting to think he has no use. They knew he wasn’t great at the physical challenge. They thought letting him be the puzzle guy would work and now he’s failed at that too. The Lulu tribe was beginning to see that Brandon wasn’t good at anything. Emily could see that. Kaleb could see that. Even Sean was starting to see that. They weren’t going to win anything with Brandon as a part of their tribe. Which sucked because they went into their next challenge with him sinking them.

There was another puzzle challenge. They tried to give it to Brandon. Brandon once again dragged them down. He managed to frustrate Sabiyah in doing so and now she too was seeing she couldn’t work with him. Brandon hadn’t even tried to work out the puzzle. He was just putting up pieces with no forethought or anything. He was a terrible player. The Lulu tribe lost again. They went without a flint again. The Reba tribe won. The Belo tribe came in second. And so the Lulu losers have to vote another person out.

It comes down to either Brandon or Emily. The tribe feels they can work with Brandon. Brandon was supposedly loyal. That was a huge part of his pitch. He was loyal and Emily was competent. Emily gave her Shot in the Dark to Sabiyah. Sabiyah didn’t tell her that she found the idol. The idol was in a candle. She couldn’t melt it because they didn’t have a flint and that was again due to Brandon. Sabiyah couldn’t vote in the tribal council. Brandon couldn’t vote. The vote comes down to three people. Kaleb, Sean, and Emily!

These three voted tonight. The guys had asked Sabiyah for her opinion. She then let the power go to her head and now she believes she’s their leader. She also told them to sink Emily by the way. She personally couldn’t stand Emily. Emily knew that. Its why she also had a pitch tonight. She said she was learning and that she was loyal. And she lives to fight on after tonight.

It was Brandon who was voted out tonight!

THE END!
