The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, April 21, reveals that Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) alerted Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to some “whackozoid” pretending to be Ridge at the front desk and vowed to stand guard in case this guy tried anything funny.
Ridge was annoyed, especially when Charlie came back and tried to explain the misunderstanding.
After Ridge said he was busy and urged Charlie to handle it, Ridge Forrester Jr. aka RJ (Joshua Hoffman) peeked around the corner.
Ridge was thrilled to see his son on Friday’s B&B episode and pulled RJ into a hug moments later.
RJ offered updates on all his adventures and posts since he was an influencer who’d been traveling the world.
After RJ handed over Ridge’s favorite licorice from Denmark, the conversation turned to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and how excited she’d be to see RJ back in town.
Although Brooke was doing well, Ridge admitted there was a sadness under the surface since RJ hadn’t been around.
RJ called Ridge out for guilt-tripping him, but Ridge insisted he was glad that RJ had been doing what he loved.
At the cabin, Brooke complained to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) about RJ’s time away.
Hope pointed out that RJ texted all the time and did video chats, but Brooke still wished her son could be there in Los Angeles.
Later, Brooke showed up at Forrester Creations and heard there was a surprise, so she quizzed Ridge while RJ hid behind the changing screen.
After Brooke assumed this was one of Ridge’s creations, Ridge said it was something they created together.
Once RJ came around the screen and revealed he was back, Brooke happily embraced him and said she was just talking about him.
Since RJ’s influencer channel had been taking him all over the place, he admitted he’d like to stick around and post some other content for a while.
That news thrilled Brooke and Ridge, so they pulled RJ into a big group hug as he grinned.
During Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) prison visit with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), she insisted she could never hate Deacon – not after everything he’d done for her and all the moments they’d shared.
Deacon was relieved that Sheila had granted him clemency, but he hated that Sheila was stuck behind bars.
Even so, Sheila was happy Deacon had a chance to roam free.
“You go and you live your life. Don’t wait for me, Daddy,” Sheila said on Friday’s B&B episode. It sounds like Sheila was trying to set Deacon free for new love!
In the design office at Forrester Creations, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) kept pushing Katie Logan (Heather Tom) to admit she still loved him.
Katie called Bill out for putting her on the spot in front of Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), but Bill said Katie was the one who insisted Carter should stay.
After Katie acknowledged that she’d always care about Bill, she talked about sharing a son with him.
Bill wanted to put their family with Will Spencer (last played by Finnegan George) back together and ignored the fact that she was with Carter now.
Although Bill hoped to start making things up to Katie over dinner, she was afraid to give him false hope.
Bill thought Katie was really afraid to face the truth since they belonged together.
Nevertheless, Katie refused to disrespect Carter and the connection they shared.
Bill felt Carter could handle a little competition, so Carter pointed out that Katie could have dinner with anyone she wanted.
That said, Carter hoped that Katie would keep him in her life.
Bill seemed doubtful that would happen once he proved to Katie that she was the only woman in the world for him.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Bill will keep working toward a “Batie” reunion, but Katie won’t make this easy!
