The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Friday, February 10 – Deacon Wants To Go Public With Sheila - Douglas Asks To Live With Steffy

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, February 10, reveals that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) made sure Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) was doing OK in the judge’s chambers.

Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) brought Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) as his witness and assured Douglas that they could stop at any point.

Douglas didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, but Hope and Thomas insisted they’d be fine with whatever he decided.

After Douglas said he was ready, Thomas and Hope explained that the choice he made today was about where he lived as well as who was more involved in his day-to-day life.

Judge Gomez (Jill Reyes) greeted everyone before asking if Douglas understood that he was making a very big decision today.

Douglas was polite and confirmed that he knew.

While Judge Gomez was reviewing everything, Hope thanked Steffy for being there – especially since she thought Thomas might need support after Douglas’ choice.

Judge Gomez spoke to everyone about Douglas deciding where he was most comfortable and told him he was in charge of his own destiny.

After today, only one parent would have custody. With that in mind, Judge Gomez asked both Thomas and Hope to say a few words to Douglas before he decided.

Thomas talked about Hope stepping up to fill Caroline Spencer’s (Linsey Godfrey) role as Douglas’ mother, but it was never supposed to mean Thomas giving up as a father.

Once Thomas said they were blood, he added that he loved Douglas with every fiber of his being. Thomas wanted to guide Douglas as he grew up and had been looking at homes for them.

Although Thomas had made a lot of mistakes, he felt Douglas had always been able to look past those and see who he truly was. Thomas really hoped Douglas would choose to live with him.

Next, Hope said she was happy about Thomas looking for homes so that Douglas would have a place to visit.

However, Hope wanted Douglas to consider the cabin his home – where he’d already been living with his mom, Liam and Beth Spencer.

After Hope said their family would be incomplete without him, she acknowledged that she knew how important Douglas’ relationship with his father was.

Hope insisted Thomas would be part of Douglas’ life, but she thought that could still happen while calling the cabin his home.

Once Hope said she hoped Douglas would choose to stay, she added that it wouldn’t be the same without him.

Judge Gomez thanked Thomas and Hope for their speeches before asking if Douglas had made his decision.

Douglas revealed that he had and wrote down the name of the person he wanted to live with on Judge Gomez’s tablet – the person who would be Douglas’ custodian moving forward.

Judge Gomez expected Douglas’ parents to honor the decision just as they’d pledged, but she was taken aback when she saw what Douglas had written.

Thomas and Hope also seemed stunned over the news before Douglas said he wrote down Aunt Steffy’s name.

Douglas walked over to Steffy moments later and admitted he wanted to live with her.

“Will you have me?” Douglas asked as Steffy sat there in shock.

At Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) place on Friday’s B&B episode, he was surprised when Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) showed up.

Sheila claimed she forgot a few things, but Deacon suspected that was an excuse to come see him.

After Deacon talked about being impressed with Sheila and how she roped in Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), Sheila argued that their connection was real.

Deacon felt he understood Sheila better than anyone and thought that “meathead” Bill was just Sheila’s ticket out.

Sheila said it was almost cute how Deacon refused to accept her new romance with Bill.

Deacon didn’t understand why Sheila was still with Bill since she got what she wanted and was now free.

After Deacon said this could be their time to have an actual relationship, he acknowledged that it’d take some work getting Hope and others to come around.

Nevertheless, Deacon felt that everyone would accept it once they saw how happy he was.

Once Deacon insisted they should “show the whole damn world,” he urged Sheila to tell him that she wanted him as much as he wanted her.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Deacon will keep playing with fire when it comes to Sheila, so stay tuned for updates on his dangerous efforts.
