The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, June 2, reveals that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) was flattered over Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) attempt to reunite with her, but she was curious why he thought it was a possibility now.
Deacon told Brooke to forget it and said it was stupid of him to listen to someone else, so Brooke realized somebody must’ve put him up to this.
Although Deacon tried to cover, Brooke wasn’t buying it and suspected he was protecting Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
Deacon admitted it wasn’t Hope, so Brooke guessed maybe Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers) wanted to step aside and clear a path for Deacon instead.
After Deacon said he had to get back to work, he told her to just wipe this from her memory.
Suddenly, it dawned on Brooke that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) could be the person who wanted them together – and Deacon’s reaction let her know she was right.
Brooke was stunned as she wrapped her head around the news of Taylor’s betrayal.
Despite Deacon’s attempts to downplay everything, Brooke said it was time to unfriend a friend and stomped off.
At Forrester Creations, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) could tell something was up with Taylor, so he wondered if she was happy or sad.
Taylor suggested it was both since talking about the kids and their past got to her.
After Taylor brought up the upcoming trip to Rome, she said she wished she could go.
Taylor wanted to be there to support Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and even Ridge.
Once Ridge joked about Taylor angling for a free trip, Taylor pointed out that she happened to know some people with a private jet.
This was such a big moment for Thomas, and Taylor had always thought of Rome as a happy place filled with love – kind of like their family.
After Taylor talked about missing her relationship with Ridge and the times they shared, she wondered if they could ever share those things again.
Taylor said she she missed the way Ridge looked right into her soul and added that she stayed away using false bravado.
Although Taylor convinced herself she was done and put her vow of friendship first, she didn’t think Brooke had held up her end of the bargain very well.
As Brooke arrived to eavesdrop, Taylor talked about how Brooke had no honesty, no integrity and hadn’t changed.
Once Taylor said Brooke was still breaking vows and doing the same thing as before, she urged Ridge not to fall for it again.
Ridge got called away to deal with something, which gave Brooke a chance to corner Taylor for a fierce confrontation.
Brooke asked Taylor how she could do this and reminded her that they made a pact.
After Brooke said she’d never felt more betrayed in her life, she called Taylor a backstabbing traitor!
In the design office on Friday’s B&B episode, Hope found RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) shirtless after his workout and teased him about keeping in shape for his followers.
Talk eventually turned to Brooke and Taylor’s pact, so RJ admitted he didn’t understand Brooke choosing friendship with Taylor over spending the rest of her life with his dad.
Although Hope said sometimes relationships reach a point where old patterns don’t work anymore, she thought part of Brooke would always love Ridge.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Brooke and Taylor’s love triangle is about to heat up again, so stay tuned for updates on all the exploding tension.
