The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, June 30, reveals that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) continued begging for forgiveness and urged Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) to think about their future, but he couldn’t unsee what he saw in Rome.
Now the threat to their happiness was Hope in addition to Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), so Liam ranted about her gaslighting him for months.
Hope didn’t understand what she felt for Thomas and said she was trying to fight against it – though she knew that wasn’t an excuse.
After Hope cried over how sorry she was, Liam wished he could accept her apology. Once Liam said he’d come back for his stuff, he revealed that he wanted a divorce.
Liam told Hope that they’d work it out with the kids, but he couldn’t do this anymore and didn’t really know who Hope was.
“Bye,” Liam said simply as he left Hope in tears.
Later, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) came to congratulate Hope and could see that she was upset.
Although RJ wanted to help, Hope felt it was too late for that and recapped how Liam saw her in Rome with Thomas.
RJ assumed Liam just saw Hope and Thomas celebrating together, so he seemed to think Liam was overreacting.
However, Hope ultimately implied that Liam didn’t love her anymore and admitted he saw her kissing Thomas, so RJ was shocked over the news.
At the cliff house, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) told Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that Hope wasn’t kissing just any man. This was Thomas, who had been a big issue in the past.
Steffy hoped Liam could forgive Hope, so Finn acknowledged that maybe he was being too pessimistic and that they might be able to work things out.
Since Finn had to rush back to the hospital, he kissed Steffy goodbye and gazed at her adoringly as he left.
At Spencer Publications on Friday’s B&B episode, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) found Liam and learned his brother would be moving in with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
Liam said he couldn’t unsee the love of his life making out with his worst enemy, so Wyatt thought maybe moving in with Bill would give him time to cool off.
After Liam said time wasn’t going to fix this, he added that Hope’s excuses wouldn’t either.
Liam confessed that his marriage was over and offered updates on his imminent divorce.
Wyatt tried to protest, but Liam was adamant that there was no coming back from this.
Once Wyatt accepted that was how Liam felt, he vowed to be there and do whatever Liam needed.
Wyatt asked where Liam went from here, so he said he had so many regrets. When Wyatt wondered if his brother meant regrets about Hope, Liam just silently left.
Back at Steffy’s place, she was surprised when Liam showed up at the door.
Steffy let Liam in and asked if Hope admitted to kissing Thomas, so Liam said no and that he had to tell her what he saw.
Liam shared Hope’s reaction and added that she’d asked him to forgive her. Steffy was curious if Liam did, but he confessed that he left Hope instead.
Although Liam insisted his marriage was over, Steffy argued that he didn’t mean that.
Liam countered that he meant it enough to ask for a divorce and didn’t see what else he could do.
After Liam said he had to move on with his life, he grabbed Steffy and pulled her into a passionate kiss.
Steffy looked like a deer in headlights once Liam broke apart from her!
