The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, June 9, reveals that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) kept using the word “we” when talking about the upcoming Rome trip, so Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) teased her about tagging along.
However, Ridge ultimately acknowledged that Brooke was an important part of the company and suggested that it’d be strictly business in Rome.
That went for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), too.
At Spencer Publications on Friday’s B&B episode, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) said he was so sick of thinking about and talking about Thomas.
Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) got updates on Liam trying to kick Thomas off the trip and suggested his brother shouldn’t be surprised that Hope wanted her lead designer there.
That said, Wyatt wondered if maybe there was a way to convince Hope to listen to Liam’s concerns.
After Wyatt brought up the idea of Thomas attending via video conference instead, Liam insisted Hope wouldn’t go for it.
Even so, Liam knew he had to do everything in his power to stop Thomas from going to Rome or else big trouble could play out there.
In the design office, Hope gushed over the changes Thomas made to a new sketch and wanted to put a rush on the design so it could be featured in Italy.
After Hope said she could already hear the gasps from the crowd, Thomas joked about how that’d happen even if Hope were wearing a trash bag.
That led to Thomas and Hope kidding around about a fashion line called “Garbage Chic,” so Brooke spied on them and looked concerned over the warm moment.
Soon after, Brooke cornered Hope privately to let her know she was thinking of going to Italy.
Hope realized Brooke wanted to chaperone and complained, but Brooke warned about the dangers of falling for an inappropriate man.
Hope acted like there was nothing to worry about since she was perfectly capable of respecting her marriage vows.
When Hope was alone, she found a card Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) had made for his parents and imagined what it’d be like to sleep with Thomas in Rome.
Although Thomas’ face wasn’t seen, his voice was heard talking about how he loved being in Italy with Hope.
Thomas said sometimes dreams really do come true as Hope made love to him.
Once Hope snapped out of it, she tried to steady herself and shut down all the sizzling thoughts.
In the CEO office, Ridge was happy to see Thomas all energized and inspired, but he was also nervous since Thomas was a little obsessed with Hope the last time he was like this.
Thomas reassured Ridge, who eventually decided it was silly to think Hope was falling for Thomas when she was all about Liam and her family.
Ridge said Hope wasn’t like her mom, so Thomas thought it sounded like Brooke was getting thrown under the bus.
Once Ridge clarified that he meant Brooke followed her heart, he added that she might be following them to Rome as well.
Thomas thought that was an awesome idea since Brooke could see him working as a team with Hope, so he later let Brooke know he was on board with her plan.
