The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, March 10, reveals that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) arrived at Forrester Creations right as Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) was asking if Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) had settled on a decision.
Taylor hoped Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) could come back to Hope’s line, but Hope pointed out that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) thought Thomas was being disingenuous.
Taylor rushed to Thomas’ defense and insisted she’d never jeopardize her new friendship with Brooke by putting Hope at risk.
When Taylor asked if Hope could find it in her heart to give Thomas another shot, Hope said Liam didn’t want her working with him.
Even so, Taylor stood her ground on the changes Thomas was making.
After getting a pep talk from Paris Buckingham (Diamond White), Thomas made his way to the CEO office and spoke with Hope alone.
At the cabin, Liam filled Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) in on Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) presenting Thomas as the only solution for Hope for the Future.
Wyatt found out Liam talked Hope out of rehiring Thomas and assured his brother that he did the right thing.
Back with Thomas, he told Hope that if she had to turn him down for the sake of her marriage, he would understand.
However, Hope considered the idea that maybe Thomas could follow through on his words with actions and convince Liam to move on.
Hope admitted that no other designer captured the spirit of Hope for the Future like Thomas did.
Thomas’ point about setting a good example for Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) was also something that Hope considered.
Once Hope decided she wasn’t ready to walk away from her line and its important message, she welcomed Thomas back to Hope for the Future and shook on the deal.
Hope warned about what would happen if even a hint of the old Thomas came out, but he knew it was his last chance.
Thomas assured Hope that he wouldn’t let her down or mess this up.
While Taylor and Brooke discussed the situation in the design office, Douglas showed up after getting dropped off by Amelia (Nicola Posener).
Once Douglas got updates on Thomas’ very important meeting, Taylor admitted it was one involving his parents.
Brooke mentioned that Thomas and Hope might be working together again, so Douglas was excited over the news.
Since Douglas hated it when his mom and dad didn’t get along, he thought this could make things a lot better.
Next on Friday’s B&B episode, Douglas joined Hope and Thomas in the CEO office, where they revealed that they were indeed going to be working together again on Hope for the Future.
Douglas asked if they could be friends too, so Hope assured him that they’d work on being a friendly team – both at work and as his parents.
Once Douglas said that was awesome, Hope acknowledged that she’d been missing him a lot.
Douglas mentioned that it was fun staying with Steffy and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), but he felt like it was time to come home after seeing Hope this happy.
Hope was shocked as Douglas confirmed he meant today and said he wanted to be back at the cabin.
After Hope scooped Douglas up in her arms, she confessed she’d been hoping to hear him say that.
Thomas smiled as he watched Hope embracing Douglas and seemed a bit choked up.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope has some good reasons to celebrate, but she’ll have to brace for Liam’s backlash soon enough.
