The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Friday, September 8 – Finn Exposes Liam’s Reunion Plot to Li – Steffy’s Men Ready to Fight

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, September 8, reveals that RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) spoke to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) about Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) decision to leave the country and flee from Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).

Talk eventually turned to RJ’s concerns about Eric Forrester (John McCook), but Ridge argued that you couldn’t just start a line in the middle of the year.

Ridge insisted Eric would be better off relaxing and playing golf or pickleball, but RJ acted like that was insulting to a man as vital and capable as his granddad.

Since Eric founded Forrester Creations with Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery), RJ felt that Eric should be allowed to do whatever he wanted.

Ridge assured RJ that no one was trying to put Eric on a shelf, but it clearly seemed that way to RJ.

Brooke backed Ridge up and said no one deserved to enjoy life more than Eric did. Although Ridge and Brooke thought it was sweet of RJ to look out for his grandfather, they offered reassurance.

What happened on Friday’s Bold and the Beautiful episode, September 8.

After RJ left, Ridge pushed Brooke to show him her wedding dress, but she said the buildup was part of the fun and couldn’t wait to surprise him.

Brooke promised everything would be OK regarding Eric and got back to work, so Ridge ended up imagining Eric at his desk and seemed deep in thought.

At the Forrester mansion, RJ found Eric struggling to draw and handed over a tablet that was synced up to his own so they could see each other’s design changes.

Although RJ knew Eric was frustrated, he said nobody should count out the great Eric Forrester and vowed to help him nail down this line.

RJ needed Eric to believe this wasn’t game over and pushed him not to listen to Ridge, so Eric pulled his grandson into a hug and thanked him.

At the cliff house on Friday’s B&B episode, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) said this is what she was afraid of since Sheila had interfered in Steffy and John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) marriage.

Although Finn took responsibility for the issues he caused, he also thought Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was a problem. Finn pointed out that Liam admitted to his face that he still loved Steffy and wanted her back.

Li fumed over the “gall of that guy” and learned Liam went running straight to Steffy with the video he recorded of Finn embracing Sheila.

That hug was a bad call, but Li still praised Finn for his compassionate, loving spirit.

Li also felt that Finn was strong and determined, so she knew he’d stand against all the threats. Finn assured Li that he wouldn’t let Sheila or Liam break up his marriage or family.

At Spencer Publications, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) returned from his trip on the Stella Maris and got updates on Liam’s marriage coming to an end.

As someone who had made mistakes of his own, Bill asked if there was any chance that Liam could forgive Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and get past this.

Liam acted like he could if Hope had kissed anybody other than Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), but Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) piped up with news about Liam’s reignited feelings for Steffy.

After Liam talked about Steffy leaving Los Angeles, he said they all wanted Sheila in prison so Steffy could come home.

Bill asked if Liam was hoping to restart his life with Steffy once that happened.

Liam wouldn’t pretend his feelings for Steffy didn’t exist, but his priority was Steffy’s happiness and safety.

That said, Liam felt he’d be a fool not to jump at another chance with Steffy if it came up. Liam admitted he loved Steffy too much and seemed eager for a reunion.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam and Finn will both fight for the woman they love, so stay tuned to see how things play out with Steffy.
