The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, July 3, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) demanded to know why Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) kissed her. Steffy said she thought she made herself clear in Rome and reminded Liam that she was a happily married woman.
After Steffy warned Liam that he had to respect that, she said she was willing to forgive his impulsive move in Italy.
Although Steffy was hoping to pretend it didn’t happen, she knew they needed to address the issue now.
Liam was apologetic and understood that Steffy had a family that she loved, but she still warned him that nothing like that kiss could ever happen again.
Steffy noted that they’d both moved on and insisted she was in a relationship where she felt safe, loved and respected.
“I don’t,” Liam admitted before griping that his wishes were never respected about Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) working with a “maniac.”
Steffy was offended over Liam insulting Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and reiterated that she couldn’t turn to her romantically.
Although Steffy and Liam would always be Kelly’s parents, that was all they’d ever be according to Steffy.
Steffy pushed Liam to forgive Hope and think about the family he’d built with her, but Liam pointed out that Hope wasn’t thinking about Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) when she had her tongue down Thomas’ throat!
Although Steffy brought up how Hope had forgiven Liam’s mistakes, he said that maybe Hope was a better person than him.
Liam didn’t see how he could get past what happened, especially since Hope would still be coparenting with Thomas and working with him on the fashion line.
Steffy suggested that maybe Hope would leave Forrester Creations, but Liam doubted it and couldn’t trust Hope even if she did.
Once Liam said he was sorry for his behavior earlier, Steffy made it clear that she wasn’t leaving John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) for him and urged him to fix things with Hope.
After Steffy said they wouldn’t talk about what happened today or in Rome again, she pushed Liam to get out of there and go back to his wife!
At the cabin, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) interrupted RJ Forrester’s (Joshua Hoffman) conversation with Hope and got updates on some shocking news.
When Brooke asked what was wrong, Hope eventually admitted Liam left her because he saw her kissing Thomas in Rome.
Brooke asked if Hope wanted a life with Thomas, but she declared that she wanted a life with Liam and the kids.
Hope didn’t know why she’d risk losing everything and said she was ashamed of what she’d done.
As Hope cried, she told Brooke that she wanted to save her marriage. Hope seemed desperate as she insisted she didn’t want to give up on Liam.
At Forrester Creations on Monday’s B&B episode, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) praised Thomas for all the great work he’d done since they’d received lots of orders from Rome.
After Ridge admitted he was glad Thomas was over his Hope obsession, Thomas looked at some framed photos of Hope and seemed pensive over romantic Italy flashbacks.
