The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, March 13, reveals that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) was excited over Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) homecoming and wondered how Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) felt about the news.
It was still painful since Thomas had hoped Douglas would come live with him, but he was committed to figuring out a better situation that worked for all of them.
Although Thomas was ready to see what the future held, he assured Hope that he wouldn’t take things too far and wanted to make everyone proud.
When Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) arrived, she got updates on Hope welcoming Thomas back to Hope for the Future.
Steffy was thrilled over that and even more thrilled over Douglas’ decision to move back in the cabin.
After Hope said they already had a call into the judge, Steffy brought up Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and how it must’ve taken some convincing when it came to Thomas.
Hope admitted that she told Liam that she’d say no to Thomas, but then she changed her mind.
Steffy seemed concerned about Liam not approving this decision, but Hope felt confident that things would be different this time and believed she could get through to Liam.
However, Thomas didn’t want to cause problems in Hope’s marriage, so he assured her that he understood if she needed to let him go.
After Hope left, Thomas expressed concern about Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) reaction to him coming back to the line.
Steffy said they’d cross that bridge when they came to it and hoped this was a turning point for the family.
Thomas knew Liam wouldn’t be happy about Hope’s decision, but he insisted he meant it when he said he didn’t have any ill will toward their marriage.
At the cabin on Monday’s B&B episode, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) assured Liam that Thomas was a creep who had no place on Hope’s line.
Liam was glad to cross Thomas off the list of things to worry about since he assumed he got through to Hope.
Later, Hope paused outside the cabin and flashed back to agreeing to reject Thomas’ return to Hope for the Future.
Once Hope gathered up the courage to face Liam, he thanked her for hearing him out earlier.
Hope let Liam know that Douglas had decided to come home and mentioned that he saw her with Thomas at Forrester Creations.
Liam assumed Thomas took Hope’s rejection well for Douglas’ sake, but Hope confessed to hearing all sides of the argument and changing her mind.
After Hope said she asked Thomas to come back to Hope for the Future as her lead designer, she confirmed that they’d be working together again.
Liam stood there looking shocked and upset over Hope’s sudden shift in thinking.
