The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, October 9, reveals that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) assured John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) had truly changed. Deacon believed in Sheila’s rehabilitation and was hoping that Finn could believe in it, too.
Although Sheila felt she had so much love to give, Finn argued that she’d leave town if she truly loved him. Finn urged Sheila to leave Los Angeles and go back to Genoa City or anywhere else.
If Sheila stuck around, Finn argued that she’d cost him his family with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Deacon acted like he could handle Sheila and make sure she never hurt anyone again, but Finn seriously doubted that and felt they should seek a fresh start elsewhere.
Finn also warned that Deacon was going to throw away his relationship with his daughter since Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) wasn’t going to accept this.
At Deacon’s apartment afterward, Sheila admitted she was worried about Finn and thought it was good that they didn’t tell him about the engagement yet.
Deacon pointed out that they knew people would be shocked, so Sheila mentioned that Hope would be especially taken aback.
At Forrester Creations, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) could see that Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) was upset and worried that someone had done something at the office.
Luna insisted it was nothing to do with work and admitted that RJ made her feel safe.
RJ rattled off a bunch of compliments, including the fact that Luna was really beautiful.
Luna thought RJ was perhaps the most kind and sincere guy she’d ever met – not to mention he was pretty hot.
RJ also shared that he’d like for Luna to wear one of his designs one day and talked about she served as inspiration.
Although RJ had traveled to so many different cities, he’d never met anyone as special, magical and mysterious as Luna.
RJ moved in close and said he was looking forward to getting to know Luna better.
In the main office on Monday’s B&B episode, Hope gave Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) updates on her visit to the cliff house, where she ended up talking to Finn about Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
Hope admitted that Finn thought she deserved someone better than Thomas and that he believed she was drawn to Thomas’ devotion because of waffling Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Brooke agreed with all that before Hope confessed that it was strangely easy to open up to Finn, who had a lot in common with her.
Hope called Finn a good man who was insightful and kind, so she said Steffy was lucky to have him as a husband.
Later, Finn stopped by and talked to Hope about their complicated relationships with their parents.
When Finn wondered if Hope already knew, Hope got confused and asked what she was supposed to know. It left Hope eager to find out what Finn was trying to tell her.
