The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, September 11, reveals that Eric Forrester (John McCook) told RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) that this would be his last collection – his grand finale!
Eric thought they could learn from each other and helped RJ see how one little flair could change the whole design.
Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) loved seeing Eric so vibrant like this, so he attributed a lot of that to his wonderful grandson’s help with his line.
At Forrester Creations, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) caught up with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) in the design office, so they discussed RJ’s lack of interest in designing.
Thomas just didn’t see RJ picking up the pen the way he had along with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
Meanwhile, Ridge kissed Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) in the main office and teased his fiancée by comparing her to Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) when it came to meddling in her kids’ lives.
Since RJ had been coming home late and sleeping in, Ridge said it sounded like a lady was involved.
Although Ridge really believed RJ could be the greatest designer in the family, he didn’t think his youngest son was interested.
Brooke thought Eric could be a great mentor for RJ, but Ridge admitted his dad was in a strange place right now.
Ridge asked Brooke to talk to Donna and have her remind Eric that he should be having fun and traveling at this stage of his life.
Since Ridge felt like they could handle the stress of the company while Eric relaxed, Brooke agreed to speak to Donna about that.
Next on Monday’s B&B episode, Thomas pitched the idea of collaborating with Ridge more.
Ridge confessed that he was worried about Eric and wanted him to enjoy himself since they had the company covered without him.
Back at the Forrester mansion, Donna mentioned that a sweet new intern was bringing over the art supplies Eric asked for.
That news left Eric concerned since he didn’t want anyone knowing about his new line yet – especially Ridge.
However, Donna assured Eric that she was there for the interview and that this new intern understood how to be discreet.
Eric talked about wanting his line to be a surprise for Donna and everybody in the world.
It seemed like Eric was especially eager for Ridge to see the work he’d done with RJ.
When Brooke arrived and saw all the sketches, she marveled over RJ designing with Eric and asked why they were doing it there instead of at the office.
Eric said it was for privacy since he was doing a solo line, so Brooke pointed out that Ridge was the head of couture and running the company.
After Eric reminded Brooke that he was Eric Forrester, he insisted no one was going to stop him – not even Ridge!
