The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, April 6, reveals that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) warned Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) to get his hands off Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and called him a “sick son of a bitch” for making his move.
Liam shoved Thomas and eventually ordered him to get out, but Thomas reminded Liam that his name was on the building.
After Liam shouted that he didn’t care, Thomas relented and headed for the door.
Liam insisted he’d been so supportive and talked about how he took care of Hope and the kids.
Now that Liam had found Hope and Thomas with their hands all over each other, he wondered how much more he was expected to take.
In the CEO office, Thomas joined Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
That led to Thomas explaining what happened with Hope’s innocent tumble and how he broke her fall right as Liam arrived.
Thomas pointed out that he left instead of escalating the situation, which was something the old version of him wouldn’t have done.
Considering Thomas’ past, he couldn’t really blame Liam for thinking the worst and not letting him explain.
Thomas also hoped this wouldn’t cause issues in Hope and Liam’s marriage.
Steffy realized that if Liam was freaking out, Hope might change her mind about keeping Thomas on her line.
However, Taylor insisted they would have Thomas’ back – and Ridge agreed their son was on the right track for the first time in a long time.
Thomas hoped that things would work out if Hope could explain to Liam what really happened.
As for all the support Thomas was getting from his loved ones, he voiced his appreciation – especially to Taylor since she was the glue of the family.
After Thomas made a “Team Taylor” declaration, he shared a group hug with Ridge, Taylor and Steffy before dashing off to get back to work.
In the design office, Hope insisted that she fell off the riser and caused Thomas to fall with her when he tried to catch her.
Since Liam had such an outraged reaction and jumped to the craziest incorrect conclusion, Hope was hurt and offended.
It was like Liam didn’t think “little old” Hope could handle herself around Thomas.
Liam mentioned everything he’d had to endure, but Hope called her husband out for his own mistakes and everything she’d had to endure in the past, too.
Even so, Liam didn’t trust Thomas and didn’t think Hope should trust him either.
Hope argued that she warned Thomas he’d be gone if he backslid, so she was upset that her word carried no weight with Liam.
Although Hope believed Thomas had changed this time, Liam felt like she kept finding new reasons to invite Thomas into her life.
When Liam asked why Hope did that, Hope reminded him that Steffy gave her an ultimatum.
After Hope insisted that she rehired Thomas to save her line, Liam said Steffy knew other designers could take the lead and was just being loyal to Thomas.
Liam didn’t think Hope needed Thomas’ help specifically, but Hope insisted she did.
“We are Hope for the Future now,” Hope said on Thursday’s B&B episode.
Liam didn’t like the sound of that, but Hope defended her working relationship with Thomas and claimed that it wasn’t personal.
When Liam asked if they could just go home, Hope pointed out that it was the middle of the day and there was more work to be done.
Liam realized Hope meant more work with Thomas, so he bolted out the door and left his wife looking distraught.
Once Hope was alone, she flashed back to some of Thomas’ out-of-control moments – like the wild showdown on the rooftop.
Hope also remembered other close moments when sparks seemed to fly while working together.
Hope could hear Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) voice in her head talking about bad boys and how she was happy her daughter wasn’t drawn to them.
Thomas startled Hope with his return to the design office and delivered good news about some positive reviews on their teamwork.
That led to Hope leaning in like she was going to kiss Thomas, but she snapped out of it – revealing that she’d imagined this Thomas interaction.
Hope wondered aloud what was going on with her and looked at a picture of herself with Brooke before shaking her head.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope’s obviously starting to realize she’s more into Thomas than she thought, so stay tuned for updates on what that’ll mean for her marriage.
