The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, June 15, reveals that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) ordered another bourbon at Il Giardino before Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) noticed he hadn’t eaten much of his food.
Liam wasn’t very hungry since he was dwelling on the Rome situation and all the disagreements that he’d been having with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
Deacon suggested there was no woman more committed to her husband and family than Hope, but Liam couldn’t shake this ominous feeling about Hope and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) being in Italy together.
Although Thomas hadn’t done anything specific to raise his suspicions, Liam had a big knot in his gut and felt something bad would happen in Rome.
On the Forrester jet, everyone on board was buzzing with excitement over the fashion preview and all the news it was generating.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) planned to take Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) to his favorite bar in Rome, but Carter implied Ridge might have plans with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) by then since it was such a romantic city.
Nearby, Thomas offered to give Hope another massage to help with the stress – just like the one he gave her on the way home from San Francisco.
Hope didn’t think Brooke and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) would appreciate that, though Thomas pointed out that Brooke seemed distracted with Ridge.
However, Brooke eventually took a moment to quiz Hope about whether she’d talked to Liam. Hope insisted she’d text him once they landed and that he’d hear her voice when she said goodnight to the kids.
After Hope mentioned that Brooke and Ridge seemed to be getting cozy, she suggested that they might be able to enjoy some downtime together in Rome.
Brooke acknowledged that Ridge was trying to protect her from more heartache and said he wasn’t even calling her his Logan anymore.
As for Steffy and Thomas on Thursday’s B&B episode, they were no longer in the business of matchmaking.
Steffy made it clear to Ridge that she just wanted him to be happy, so she urged him to live a little in Rome. That left Ridge looking intrigued as he gazed over at Brooke, who locked eyes with him.
At one point, Steffy let Thomas know how proud she was of him and cornered Hope alone to offer a warning.
Since Thomas had turned his life around, Steffy insisted she wouldn’t let Hope or anyone else destroy his hard work.
Hope said there was nothing to worry about, but Steffy just glared at her before sauntering away from the conversation.
Thomas checked on Hope afterward and touched her arm, so she flashed through close moments with him and recalled her fantasy while looking flustered.
At Forrester Creations, Eric Forrester (John McCook) reminded RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) that if he changed his mind about designing at the company, he’d be happy to show him the ropes along with Ridge.
Talk turned to Ridge and Brooke’s relationship, so RJ said his matchmaking days were over – though he did admit he’d like to see his parents together again.
That said, RJ felt it’d have to be something that both Brooke and Ridge wanted.
Eric thought Ridge and Brooke indeed wanted it, so he was hopeful about the timing finally being right now that they were headed to Rome.
