The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, March 2, reveals that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) thought Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) should give himself credit for the work he was doing to improve.
Thomas was glad for Taylor’s meddling since he was a little more welcome around the cliff house now.
Taylor assured Thomas that she’d never give up on him – and neither would Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Thomas acknowledged it was a big step for Steffy to let him be around Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) more often.
Once Taylor got a text, she gave Thomas updates and said Steffy wanted to see them both at Forrester Creations.
Next on Thursday’s B&B episode Steffy spoke with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) alone in the CEO office and delivered bad news.
Due to the latest numbers and the downward trajectory that the line had been on, Steffy was considering pausing Hope for the Future.
Hope tried to protest, but Steffy felt that they had to pump the brakes unless they figured out a solution.
After Taylor and Thomas arrived, Steffy talked about Hope for the Future being at a crossroads and insisted it excelled under one condition.
Steffy pointed out that Hope needed a creative genius who couldn’t be duplicated, so Thomas needed to be Hope’s lead designer if they wanted her line to succeed.
Since Thomas was seeing a therapist and was ready to redeem himself, Steffy felt he’d learned his lesson and shouldn’t be punished anymore – especially since they were all paying the price.
That meant Thomas was no longer in exile and could come back to the company.
If Hope agreed, it was Steffy’s recommendation that Thomas return to Hope for the Future as lead designer.
Taylor was thrilled over Steffy giving Thomas another chance – and he promised that he wouldn’t let any of them down.
However, Hope was confused since Steffy and Thomas were barely speaking not too long ago.
Taylor admitted to interfering in Thomas and Steffy’s relationship so they could start rebuilding trust.
Although Steffy knew Hope might want to resist, she thought Thomas was the key to saving Hope’s line.
Steffy asked if Hope would allow Thomas to return to Hope for the Future, so Hope was put on the spot.
At Il Giardino, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) admitted he summoned Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) because he was worried about Hope.
Liam and Deacon complained about Thomas’s stupid idea of letting Douglas decide where to live before talk turned to Hope’s failing line.
Nothing had been the same since Thomas left, but Liam said Thomas coming back was out of the question.
At Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) place, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) noticed he was quiet today, so he said he had a lot on his mind.
Bill kissed Sheila before snuggling up to her and acknowledging how much he’d sacrificed for this relationship.
Sheila assured Bill that she knew and said she’d be forever grateful for everything he’d done for her.
When Liam showed up, Sheila called him “junior” and gave him a pat on the arm as she left to supposedly run errands.
Liam said he’d never get used to walking in there and seeing Sheila – nor would it ever get less nauseating.
After Liam declared this wasn’t normal, Bill argued that he was blazing his own trail like he always did.
Liam thought this whole “screw the world” mentality was off brand, even for Bill.
Since Bill was blackmailing Steffy, Liam asked why his father was letting himself be manipulated by a criminal like Sheila and wondered where all this was coming from.
Bill said this is who he was and suggested maybe it was a side Liam hadn’t seen before.
Liam mentioned Bill’s less-than-ideal childhood, but Bill shut down any attempt to analyze him.
Once Liam insisted he wasn’t analyzing or even judging, he admitted he was scared for Bill and their family.
Liam begged Bill to tell him how to get Sheila out of his life since he felt there must be some way to do that.
At Deacon’s apartment, he flashed back to a kiss with Sheila before she showed up at the door.
Deacon pointed out that Sheila said goodbye forever, but Sheila replied that maybe she didn’t mean it.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Sheila and Deacon will once again find themselves in risky territory, so stick with B&B!
