The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, March 9, reveals that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) came clean about Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) ultimatum, but Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) felt this news was so unreasonable.
Liam argued that nothing good ever came from Hope working with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and talked about the positive impact of her line.
Hope didn’t want to abandon Hope for the Future, but Liam insisted it was bull that Thomas was the only path forward.
When Hope acted like Liam refused to acknowledge Thomas’ talent as a designer, Liam insisted that he did acknowledge it.
However, Liam wondered if there was no dealbreaker when it came to Thomas and suggested they’d let him get away with pushing an intern out a window!
Hope pointed out that Thomas was putting in the work this time, but Liam refused to believe Thomas had changed and was “pissed off” at Steffy for not letting her explore other options.
When Hope said that it’d be good for Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) to see his parents working together again, Liam doubted that view of the situation came from her.
Liam was exasperated since he’d begged so many times for Hope to keep Thomas out of her life.
Since Liam was begging once again not to give Thomas an opening, Hope surrendered and said she’d tell Thomas the answer was no.
A relieved Liam thanked Hope profusely and pulled her into a warm embrace.
Liam promised Hope that she was making the right decision, but she didn’t seem so sure.
At Forrester Creations, Dr. Joshua Howard (Zae Jordan) visited Thomas and was pleased over his progress.
The same went for Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), who was witnessing the changes in Thomas first-hand and was so proud of her son.
Thomas talked about working on impulse control and assured Dr. Howard that he wasn’t fixated on Hope now.
Once Thomas insisted he wanted Hope to be happy and for her to trust him, he acknowledged that could take time.
Even so, Dr. Howard had no doubt that Thomas was sincere about all the updates he was making to his life.
Taylor agreed with Dr. Howard, so Thomas was grateful to them both for believing in him – though he hinted about Liam being an issue for Hope.
In the design office on Thursday’s B&B episode, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) popped in and spent some time with Katie Logan (Heather Tom), who called him a dear friend and felt lucky to have him on her side.
Katie talked about how special their friendship was, so she didn’t want anything to mess up their uncomplicated bond.
Carter assured Katie that nothing would change how he felt about her and guessed they were crossing into the friend zone.
That left Katie confused, so she asked if that’s what Carter thought she was saying.
To prove that’s NOT what she meant, Katie pulled Carter into a passionate kiss.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Carter and Katie still have a romantic future ahead of them, but they’ll want to be careful to preserve their connection along the way.
