The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Tuesday, April 18 – Finn’s Monaco-Inspired Present for Steffy – Liam’s Forever Love

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 18, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) urged Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to blow out the candles on her cake and showed off a slide show of old family photos that served as a birthday card.

Although Ridge wanted to spend some father-daughter time together, Steffy had to rush home to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and told her dad to save her some cake.

Ridge was bummed over Steffy having to leave so soon, but Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) arrived at the CEO office a little later and got updates on how things went.

Despite Ridge’s disappointment over the news of Steffy leaving early, Taylor understood why Steffy wanted to spend her birthday with Finn.

That led to Taylor talking about all the drama in Steffy’s previous relationship with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), who had been a fool to let her go.

As they ate cake, Taylor told Ridge that Steffy had lived two incredible lives with two incredibly different men.

Now that Steffy was all grown up with a husband, two kids and a fashion house to run, both Ridge and Steffy were so proud of the person she’d become.

After Taylor said Steffy deserved all the joy that life has to offer, she assumed Steffy was probably in Finn’s arms right now.

Taylor thought that was where Steffy belonged on her birthday.

However, Steffy was with Liam instead since he stopped by to wish her a happy birthday and bring a squeaky duck toy that Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) had been asking about.

Liam admitted he’d been thinking about Steffy all day and that he’d been taking a walk down memory lane.

Once Liam reflected on how fortunate they had been, Steffy offered a “cha, cha, cha” and made Liam laugh by squeaking the duck toy that he’d handed over.

“There’s nobody quite like Steffy Forrester,” Liam said after thinking back on a funny story involving Steffy and a concert parking lot space.

Liam reminded Steffy that for a huge chunk of their lives, they were everything to each other.

After Liam confessed that he thought it’d last forever at the time, Steffy said she did, too.

Liam and Steffy agreed they’d always have the memories before B&B played flashback montage set to the classic “Steam” love song.

It included some significant moments throughout Steffy and Liam’s history – like their time together in Aspen and a romantic reunion on the beach.

Next on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Liam assured Steffy that although their love had changed, it was never going away.

Once Liam wished Steffy a happy birthday again, he said he loved her, kissed her on the cheek and pulled her into a hug.

Back at Forrester Creations, Ridge and Taylor reflected on how independent Steffy had always been.

After some a flashback of publicity and career-related moments for Steffy, Taylor called her their “wild child” and was glad that she’d found happiness with Finn.

At the cliff house, Steffy was amazed to find the place all decked out with flowers and candles.

Finn also had some of Steffy’s favorites for a quiet birthday dinner at home like she requested.

After Finn talked about the insane challenges they’d made it through, he thanked Steffy for changing his life with this wonderful growing family.

Steffy taught Finn balance and fulfillment, so he couldn’t imagine his life any other way and kissed her after declaring his love.

Once Steffy settled in on the sofa with Finn, she said they were so lucky.

Although they had skirted death and danced with the devil, Finn and Steffy had overcome the obstacles.

Steffy insisted this birthday meant more to her since Finn was there with her.

Finn said he had a gift for Steffy, but she replied that she was looking at her gift since he was home.

Steffy praised Finn for being an incredible husband and an amazing father.

After Steffy flashed back to Finn bleeding in the alley, she remembered grieving in Monaco when she thought Finn was dead.

However, Finn insisted he wasn’t gone for good and flashed back to fighting off Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) to make his escape.

Once Steffy and Finn recalled reuniting as the church bells chimed in Monaco, Finn handed over the gift he mentioned earlier.

Steffy pulled a small device out of the box, so Finn encouraged her to press the button.

It turns out Finn had an Italian craftsman install the same bells at their place, which meant they could hear the same chiming that they heard during their reunion.

Steffy was touched over the sweet present and slow-danced with Finn before fireworks erupted above their house.

Fans could see that “9,000” was written in the night sky in honor of the show’s 9,000th episode.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say the drama will continue on the CBS soap, so don’t miss what’s ahead for Steffy, Finn, Liam and more!
