The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 4, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) stopped by the cliff house to fill Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) in on the Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) situation.
After Ridge explained how he helped with Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) FBI sting, he revealed that Sheila confessed to first-degree murder and would be put away permanently.
Steffy realized the blackmail was part of the charade, so Ridge confirmed that Bill cut a deal and got Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) off the hook.
Finn assured Ridge that Sheila’s heart attack was real and confessed that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) refused to treat Sheila.
Li wanted Finn to do the same, but he couldn’t just let Sheila die and had to view her as a patient in that moment.
Ridge understood along with Steffy, who expressed her love for both Finn and her father.
Steffy thanked Ridge for sacrificing to keep her safe before he headed on his way.
Once Finn was alone with Steffy, he acknowledged that Sheila could’ve been totally out of their lives if he hadn’t saved her.
However, Steffy urged Finn not to second-guess his decision and praised his compassion before planting a kiss.
Next on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Bill gave Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) updates on his Sheila takedown scheme.
All three of them reeled over the news, but they were happy Bill hadn’t lost his mind.
Wyatt realized Bill had been living with Sheila for months and had to make her believe their relationship was legit.
Once Wyatt wondered how far Bill had to go, Bill admitted he had to go as far as Wyatt could imagine and further than that!
Liam felt physically ill at the thought of Bill sleeping with Sheila – and Hope didn’t look so hot either.
Wyatt was sorry he asked as they all tried to wipe that mental image.
Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) called to confirm that Sheila’s heart attack was real before Hope thanked Bill for keeping everyone safe, especially the children.
Liam also expressed how proud he was of Bill and said he’d never loved him more.
Bill had missed seeing the love and admiration in his sons’ eyes and confessed he was glad to be home.
In the end, Bill shared a sweet group hug with Liam, Wyatt and Hope as they showed their appreciation.
At the Forrester mansion, Taylor told Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) that she spoke to Steffy over the phone and learned Sheila really did have a heart attack.
Now that Ridge was back, Brooke thought they should discuss what that meant for them moving forward.
Taylor suggested a Batman and Robin themed party since Bill and Ridge had been like superheroes against Sheila, so Brooke liked the sound of that.
As for what Ridge’s return meant for their friendship, Taylor insisted she didn’t want to lose what they’d built and said “Braylor” was endgame.
Brooke agreed they would stick to their pact, but she felt they’d have to be more careful and protective of their friendship now.
Nevertheless, Taylor and Brooke pinky-promised that they wouldn’t fight over Ridge and that their bond would remain solid.
When Ridge arrived to find Brooke and Taylor giggling, he wondered what was going on.
Taylor and Brooke hinted about something happening while Ridge was gone, so he thought for a moment and clearly assumed they meant something romantic.
“No way!” Ridge said gleefully before Brooke and Taylor insisted they were just friends.
Taylor and Brooke confirmed that they’d grown very close and that nothing would change that.
At this stage of their life, Taylor said they were choosing their friendship over their feelings for Ridge.
After Taylor revealed that Brooke had become her best friend, Brooke replied that Taylor had become her best friend, too.
Ridge sat there awkwardly as Taylor and Brooke reiterated that their friendship came first.
