The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, August 15, reveals that Eric Forrester (John McCook) assured Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that she was welcome to stay with the kids for as long as she needed. Steffy appreciated Eric opening his home to them, but he insisted it was their home, too.
Eric hated that Steffy didn’t feel safe at the cliff house with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and agreed with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) that Steffy did the right thing by moving out.
However, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) had a different perspective once she cut her conference trip short and rushed home.
Steffy insisted there was no need for that since she’d given Taylor updates on everything over the phone, but Taylor wanted to be there for her daughter.
Although Ridge and Eric felt that Steffy made the best choice by living there at the Forrester mansion, Taylor wasn’t so sure.
That led to Taylor wondering if maybe Steffy should get back home and try to work things out with Finn.
Eric eventually left the room, so Ridge and Taylor bickered about the whole situation with Finn.
Taylor didn’t think Finn would let anything happen, but Ridge snapped that he already did!
Even so, Taylor said she was advocating for Steffy’s marriage to her wonderful husband, who loved her and only her for better or for worse.
Steffy flashed back to Finn begging her not to take the kids before she broke up Taylor and Ridge’s argument.
Ridge said he was just trying to explain why Taylor was wrong – or why he was right.
Since Steffy could spend years looking over her shoulder for Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), Ridge wanted his daughter to keep an open mind about what she was going to do.
At the cliff house, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) came after being summoned by Finn, who needed his help with Steffy.
Reality was setting in for Finn about the separation, so he said he missed his family more than anything.
Although Finn took responsibility for what happened with Sheila, he mostly blamed Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) for taking advantage of the situation.
Finn explained how Liam recorded the video of him embracing Sheila at the courthouse and ran right to Steffy with it.
Of course, RJ flipped out over Finn hugging Sheila, but Finn tried to explain it away and kept the blame on Liam.
RJ seemed skeptical about Liam trying to sabotage Finn’s marriage, but Finn insisted he knew for a fact that was true – and he wasn’t going to let that “little twerp” get away with it!
On Tuesday’s B&B episode, Finn reflected on what an incredible woman Steffy was and how he knew his life had just begun when he met her.
It broke Finn’s heart to think that Steffy no longer felt safe in their home. Finn assured RJ that he promised he wouldn’t have anything more to do with Sheila.
After Finn acknowledged that he screwed up and broke Steffy’s trust, he said he needed Steffy to come home since it was the only way to prove he could protect their family.
Sheila was a big part of the problem, but Finn reiterated that Liam was an issue, too.
At Spencer Publications, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) reminded Liam that he might have another chance with Steffy considering her current relationship turmoil – though he wasn’t saying Liam should bulldoze Steffy’s marriage.
Wyatt didn’t want to be held responsible for the rivalry that was going to erupt, but he acknowledged that things were lining up perfectly for Liam.
After Wyatt pushed Liam to admit he was still in love with Steffy and wanted a life with her, Liam confessed that his brother was right.
Once Liam wondered how he ever let Steffy slip through his fingers, he added that she couldn’t stay with Finn – not when he’d become a danger to Steffy and the kids.
Liam only had one life to live, so he smiled as he said he wanted to live it with Steffy and their daughter.
Nevertheless, Finn was determined back at the cliff house, where he talked to RJ about how much he’d overcome with Steffy.
All the challenges had only made Finn and Steffy stronger, so Finn warned there was no way he was letting Liam make a play for his wife!
