The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, June 13, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) discussed the Rome trip after putting Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) to bed.
After Steffy pointed out that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) wouldn’t be alone together like in San Francisco, she added that they’d be crazy busy the whole time.
Since Liam was still worried, Steffy admitted she had lingering concerns about Hope’s confusing feelings for Thomas.
Liam felt like Steffy had to be mistaken, but Steffy thought that maybe he should come to Rome – just to be safe.
However, Liam didn’t want to be the insecure husband who kept tabs on his wife. Steffy suggested she could keep an eye on things just in case, so Liam gave her a wink and a nod.
At Il Giardino, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) was glad Hope could stop by ahead of her Italy trip.
When asked, Hope confirmed that Thomas was still going and steered the conversation in another direction.
Hope admitted she’d been thinking about some of the decisions Deacon and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) made in the past.
Although Hope knew Deacon was a good man, she mentioned that once upon a time he surrendered to his desires.
Deacon pointed out that if he hadn’t, Hope wouldn’t be sitting in front of him right now.
That said, Deacon didn’t think Hope was someone who let her passions run wild and suggested she was like a saint.
Hope denied that before Deacon noticed she seemed kind of down, but she acted she just had a lot going on in her life.
Deacon felt like sometimes Hope might be a little hard on herself, so he reminded her to be human and have fun.
After Deacon said it was OK to make a couple mistakes and follow her passion, Hope thanked him for the unexpected advice.
At Forrester Creations, Eric Forrester (John McCook) and RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) teased Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) about being unprepared since he waited so late to pack and couldn’t find his passport.
That passport thankfully turned up after Eric talked about Ridge and Brooke heading to one of the most romantic cities in the world.
Ridge insisted this trip was about business, but Eric felt there’d be spare time to spend with Brooke – though he didn’t think Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) should tag along.
After Eric left, RJ played up how Ridge and Brooke were each other’s destiny. If it weren’t for Thomas, RJ felt that Brooke and Ridge would still be together.
Ridge argued that they were trying to break the cycle of pain and disappointment, but RJ hinted that destiny would win someday – maybe in Rome.
In the design office, Taylor said she still believed Brooke wasn’t transparent with her, but she acknowledged that she reacted poorly.
Taylor also insisted she was truly trying to support the idea of Brooke moving on with her life.
Brooke snapped about Taylor doing that so she could move on with Ridge and mentioned that she was going to Rome.
Taylor noted that she was thinking about going to Rome too and said she wanted to support Thomas.
Brooke felt there was no reason for Taylor to be involved in Forrester business and accused her of wanting to be alone with Ridge.
After Brooke said she could see right through her, Taylor replied that at least one of them was transparent!
Brooke wound up talking about how Ridge seemed like he’d lost his faith, so Taylor assumed she meant his faith in destiny.
Once Taylor realized Brooke wanted to use Rome to make Ridge believe in love again, she seemed outraged.
“Ciao, Taylor,” Brooke said before sauntering out on Tuesday’s B&B episode.
At the cabin, Hope returned and assured Liam that she wasn’t working late with Thomas.
After Hope offered updates on her visit with Deacon, Liam tried to launch another debate about whether Thomas should go to Italy.
Hope didn’t want to get into it again and begged Liam to just make their last night before the trip peaceful.
As Hope touched Liam’s face tenderly, she insisted he was the man she wanted and made her vows to.
Hope said nothing was going to change that in the next few days, so Liam replied that he knew that.
After Hope and Liam expressed their love, she told him that she’d come home to her husband, family and their life together after the trip.
Liam still seemed uneasy despite Hope’s attempt to soothe his nerves.
