The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, June 27, reveals that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was standoffish when Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) came home from her trip. After Liam immediately started asking questions about Hope’s visit to the “city of eternal love,” she picked up on the weird vibe and asked if something was wrong.
Liam remained agitated as he kept pushing Hope to tell him all about her big adventure in Rome.
Hope recapped the press event and how successful it was, so Liam said it sounded like Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) came through for her in a big way.
In fact, Liam thought this incredible moment for Hope and Thomas was almost romantic.
After Liam said all those long nights with Thomas finally paid off, he said it must feel really good.
Once Liam reiterated that it was romantic for all this to happen in Rome, Hope said it would’ve been romantic if Liam had been there.
Although Hope said she missed Liam, he clearly doubted that.
Hope seemed suspicious throughout this conversation and asked what was really going on.
When Hope spotted Liam’s luggage nearby, she guessed that maybe he was going on a business trip now.
Upon closer inspection, Hope saw that the tag was for a flight from Rome to Los Angeles.
Once Liam confirmed that he was in Italy, Hope seemed nervous as she asked why.
When John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) found Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) at home after his shift, he pulled her into a passionate kiss.
Finn snuggled on the sofa with Steffy and played the Monaco bells as they reconnected.
However, Finn could tell that something was bothering Steffy, who admitted it was about Hope and Liam.
After Finn said he urged Liam to surprise Hope in Rome, Steffy hinted that Liam was the one who ended up being surprised.
Steffy explained that Liam saw Hope, but he turned around and came home instead of speaking to her.
Finn was confused before he finally realized something might’ve happened between Thomas and Hope.
Steffy confirmed that something indeed happened and that Liam saw it with his own eyes!
At Forrester Creations, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) caught up with RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman), Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) following the flight back to LA.
There was lots of praise for Hope’s line before Brooke confessed she was back together with Ridge.
Brooke told the story of the latest “Bridge” reunion, so Donna, Eric and RJ were all tickled pink.
That said, RJ worried about how Thomas and Steffy would react.
Brooke pointed out that they already took the news quite well since they just wanted Ridge to be happy – and if he was happy with her, then they could respect that.
RJ still thought Steffy and Thomas must be disappointed on some level. As for Eric, he was mostly worried about Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) reaction to Ridge’s imminent updates.
Next, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) met with Taylor alone and admitted something happened on the trip that she needed to know about.
Taylor jokingly guessed that Ridge lost his passport before correctly guessing that he was back together with Brooke.
Ridge insisted he saw his future in Rome and that he had to give his life with Brooke one more chance.
Although Ridge felt things would be different this time, Taylor argued that being back with Brooke meant setting himself up for more heartache.
Taylor also told Ridge that she’d love him forever and that she missed him, but she insisted she’d be OK.
Ridge didn’t think he was setting himself up to get hurt again, but Taylor made a prediction about a tragic outcome.
Taylor said that Ridge would be happy until Brooke betrayed all the trust he’d put in her.
“Brooke Logan will always be Brooke Logan,” Taylor warned on Tuesday’s B&B episode.
