The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, June 6, reveals that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) claimed Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) had been playing her for months and accused Taylor of using her to get to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
Taylor argued that it was more like retaliating since Brooke didn’t keep the pact.
Brooke denied that and ratted her rival out for trying to set her up with Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers) and then Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) so Taylor could be with Ridge herself.
Although Taylor admitted to matchmaking, she argued that it wasn’t all manipulation and said she actually witnessed a connection.
Brooke made it clear that their friendship was over, but Taylor pointed out that Brooke had to own her part in this blowup.
However, Brooke was stuck on Taylor’s betrayal and struggled to believe her friend could do such a thing.
Ridge wanted to talk to Brooke in private, so Taylor agreed to leave – though she warned Ridge not to think the worst of her since he hadn’t heard both sides yet.
Once Ridge was alone with Brooke, she hoped to discuss what their future looked like from here.
Ridge doubted that Taylor was as calculating as Brooke thought, but Brooke didn’t want to waste any more time thinking about her.
After Brooke insisted she never stopped wanting Ridge back, she couldn’t believe she chose a friendship with Taylor over the man she’d loved most of her life.
Ridge wondered if Brooke honestly still believed in eternal love and admitted that he didn’t.
Brooke insisted she did and added that she still believed in her destiny with Ridge.
At Il Giardino, Deacon gave Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) updates on how he stupidly listened to Taylor and got rejected by Brooke again.
Hope ranted about Taylor and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) being hypocrites before hoping that everything blew up in Taylor’s face.
Back at Forrester Creations on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) checked out a new design that a model was wearing.
That model wound up making a comment about how in sync Thomas and Hope were – almost as if they were a couple!
Thomas downplayed that comment to Steffy since she was clearly concerned and acted like she was being paranoid.
Steffy pointed out there was a lot on the line – including Thomas’ reputation – when it came to this Rome trip.
Thomas promised he wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize Hope’s life or her marriage to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
After Thomas asked what more he had to do to make Steffy believe him, she kept dropping hints about Thomas not being the issue.
Steffy admitted she was worried about Thomas and Hope spending more time together, especially in Rome since many people get swept up in such a magical place.
Thomas insisted nothing was going to happen and vowed to buy Steffy a new car or even a house if he was wrong since he was that confident.
When Taylor appeared, Steffy and Thomas quickly noticed that she seemed upset.
Taylor confessed that Ridge walked in on her physical fight with Brooke after they argued over who broke the pact.
Although Taylor admitted to forcefully suggesting Deacon should reach out to Brooke and rebuild their life together, Steffy acted like Hope had been playing Cupid for years.
Steffy asked what the difference was, so Taylor said it was the timing and the fact that the matchmaking was coming from her this time.
Brooke accused Taylor of trying to get her out of the way and clear a path to Ridge, so Taylor gave Thomas and Steffy shocking news on the whole ordeal.
Now that the pact was done, Steffy asked if that meant Taylor wanted to be with Ridge again.
“I have never not wanted to be with your dad,” Taylor confessed.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Brooke and Taylor will inevitably have more showdowns, so stick with the CBS soap.
