The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 17, reveals that Eric Forrester (John McCook) struggled to sketch and examined some fabrics before leaving RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) a voicemail about a design decision.
After Eric started coughing, Donna Forrester (Jennifer Gareis) came to check on him and was deeply concerned after he dropped a bloody handkerchief.
Eric confessed that he’d been coughing up blood for a while, but he didn’t want to make Donna more worried than she already was.
Donna hugged Eric before calling Dr. Colin Colby (Justiin Davis) over to the Forrester mansion, but Eric insisted all the tests wouldn’t change anything. Eric was determined to live while he was alive and do his grand finale.
Once Donna brought Eric his pills and a special drink with antioxidants, Dr. Colby arrived and confronted Eric about the bloody cough news he heard from Donna.
Eric confessed that it’d been going on for a couple weeks before Donna wondered why they didn’t have a diagnosis yet.
After Donna told Dr. Colby that they needed the truth, she asked if Eric was dying and wrapped her arms around him in fear.
At Forrester Creations, RJ flashed back to kissing Luna Nozawa (Lisa Finnegan) and was happy to see her when she walked in.
Luna admired RJ’s new sketch and once again thanked him for helping her stand up to Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda).
RJ insisted no thanks was needed, especially since he was just repaying the favor after she’d supported him over Eric’s secret.
Talk turned to the fashion challenge and how RJ didn’t want to see Eric lose. RJ admitted he didn’t think Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) realized just how much this fashion show meant to Eric.
At the hospital on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Li discussed a patient with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) in his office before he brought up seeing Luna the other day.
Finn asked why Li was insisting that Luna leave Forrester Creations, but Li pretended to be distracted by her phone.
However, Finn kept at it and once again pushed for answers about why Li was making Luna quit her internship.
After Finn reflected on remembering Luna and Aunt Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) when he was little, he pointed out that they disappeared from their lives.
Finn asked what was going on, so Li argued that he should be focusing on his family instead.
Once Finn pointed out that Luna was his family too, Li admitted that Luna’s mother turned her life upside down years ago – and she’d never forgive Poppy for that!
In the main office, Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) visited Ridge and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) to express excitement over the fashion challenge.
Charlie compared it to the showdown at the O.K. Corral, so Ridge confessed this might be Eric’s last stand.
Although Ridge didn’t want Charlie fanning the flames when it came to the competition, he later confessed to Brooke there was no stopping this runaway train.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Eric and Ridge’s couture battle will bring some surprises, so stay tuned for updates on all the drama.
