The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 3, reveals that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) found Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) at Forrester Creations and pointed out they didn’t get to finish their conversation yesterday.
Brooke suggested that was because Taylor took off while Brooke had to get home to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
Taylor wondered if Brooke was sending her a message and basically gloating about having Ridge home waiting for her, but they eventually moved past the tension.
Brooke insisted they were on the same page about Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), so Taylor admitted she didn’t come there to fight and that she was looking for Ridge.
Once Ridge walked in, Taylor spoke to him about Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) a bit more.
Ridge thought Taylor should focus on Steffy instead of Thomas right now, but Taylor felt she could worry about both.
However, Ridge downplayed Taylor’s concerns about Thomas and assured her that he’d tell her if anything happened.
After Taylor left, Ridge told Brooke that he didn’t want to be at odds with Eric Forrester (John McCook) and suspected something was going on with him.
Ridge just didn’t understand why Eric was so determined to do a collection of his own instead of teaming up, so he asked for Brooke’s thoughts.
Brooke simply smiled, sighed and took Ridge’s hands as she showed her support.
In the design office, Eric looked at some Parisian lace samples and decided none of them were what he was looking for.
RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) seemed anxious as Eric struggled to hide some tremors and planned to head out.
Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) stopped Eric since she needed his signature on some forms, so he tried to sign and then gave up due to his tremors.
Eric snapped that he didn’t need to sign anything yet and added that he was Eric Forrester as he marched out the door.
RJ was sorry about Eric’s reaction and assured Luna that she wasn’t to blame. After RJ asked if Luna could promise to keep something between them, she confirmed that she could.
RJ explained that Eric had been compromised, so Luna eventually pushed for clarification.
Once RJ explained that Eric claimed to have arthritis or sometimes carpal tunnel syndrome, he admitted he thought it was more serious.
RJ said Eric really believed this was his last collection and noted that his granddad’s hands were getting shakier. It was obvious that Eric’s condition was becoming worse.
RJ knew that Ridge would understand, give Eric his office back and step aside if he got updates on what Eric was going through.
Unfortunately, Eric was adamant that no one besides RJ and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) could know the truth, especially not Ridge.
Luna wondered why RJ told her, so he acknowledged that she was caring, trustworthy and part of the team.
Although Luna seemed to be in favor of RJ coming clean to Ridge, she vowed not to say anything herself and suggested she was there if RJ ever wanted to talk.
RJ made another confession about not wanting to join the family business or be a designer.
Luna realized RJ was going all this for his grandfather, so she was touched by that and felt she hadn’t met many guys like him.
After Luna talked about how genuine RJ always seemed on social media, she insisted he was a really special guy.
At the Forrester mansion on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) showed up and spoke to Donna about Eric’s legacy line.
Donna hinted that it was like Eric’s life depended on this collection, but Katie thought that sounded a little dramatic.
Katie didn’t get why this had to be Eric’s curtain call and questioned why he was insisting this was the end.
Eric overheard that part as he walked in, so he confirmed that this would be his final collection and that it’d happen on his terms.
Since Eric’s hand was shaking, Donna took it in her own and tried to help him steady it.
Although Ridge and Brooke seemed to think Eric should step aside, Katie said she’d never insinuate that Eric should retire.
Eric joked about Katie being his favorite brunette Logan sister before Donna eventually hinted for Katie to leave.
Katie hugged them both before exiting, which gave Eric a chance to fill Donna in on what happened when he snapped at Luna earlier.
Eric worried about Luna thinking he was some ogre, but Donna was hopeful about finally getting some answers from the doctor since he’d be there any minute.
Donna praised Eric for being so strong and for giving her the best years of her life.
After Donna promised they’d get past this little hiccup together, she kissed Eric and answered the door when Dr. Colin Colby (Justiin Davis) arrived.
Eric reminded Dr. Colby that his discretion was appreciated before he awaited the test results along with Donna.
“What’s wrong with me, doctor?” Eric asked an uneasy Dr. Colby.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Dr. Colby will deliver some tough news to Eric and Donna, so stay tuned to see their reaction.
