The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, September 5, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) convinced John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) that she wasn’t seeing things and that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was actually there.
Finn dragged Sheila inside on Tuesday’s B&B episode and insisted he was finally putting an end to this – right now, once and for all!
Steffy freaked out over Sheila being in their home, but Sheila said she only came to see her son. After Steffy warned Sheila to stop calling Finn that, Sheila suggested nothing could change the fact that she gave birth to him.
Once Sheila pointed out that she saved Kelly Spencer’s (Sophia Paras McKinlay) life, she pleaded for an opportunity to prove she could be a good nurturing mother and a good part of all their lives.
Steffy warned Finn not to listen to Sheila and felt he had to protect his family. After Steffy said Finn should tell this monster he wants nothing to do with her, Sheila argued that Finn didn’t see her that way and played up their connection.
Sheila talked about how Finn embraced her over and over before pointing out that he had her blood flowing through his veins. Eerie music played as Sheila begged Finn not to turn his back on his mother, which led to Steffy and Sheila glaring at each other.
At Spencer Publications, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) worried that something bad was going to happen now that Steffy was moving back in the cliff house.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was grateful for Liam’s concern for Steffy, but he wondered how much his newly discovered love for her affected his view.
Ridge also had to wonder if things would change if the situation with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) were different. Liam assured Ridge that although he was motivated by love, his concern wasn’t born out of some plot to undermine Steffy’s marriage.
Ridge told a childhood story about Steffy being a daredevil who broke her arm because he pushed her too hard to be careful. That same idea still applied to stubborn Steffy as an adult, so Ridge said that they couldn’t push Steffy too hard or she would fly away.
Liam remained worried about what would happen if Sheila saw Steffy as an obstacle since Sheila gets rid of those.
In the design office at Forrester Creations, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) talked to Hope about his fears about Eric Forrester (John McCook) getting lost in the shuffle and being treated like a figurehead.
Hope assured RJ that wasn’t the case, but she pointed out that companies had to change and grow. RJ wondered if Hope and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) were trying to be the leaders, so Hope questioned if this was really about RJ’s feelings about the two of them.
RJ seemingly didn’t want Hope asking any Eric-related questions, so he leaned into her suggestion and asked if she was really done with Liam or not. Hope confirmed that Liam made her think maybe he wanted another chance and then turned her down.
RJ asked why Liam would lead Hope on like that, so she asked if he’d met Liam Spencer! As they talked, RJ realized Liam would’ve forgiven Hope for kissing any other man – just not Thomas.
RJ felt like Hope must feel lost and alone right now, but she flashed back to assuring Thomas that she wanted him and kissing him passionately.
After RJ said Hope would get through this, she smiled and agreed that she would. RJ felt that Hope could be happy, loved, fulfilled and successful, but she had to put herself first.
Once RJ urged Hope to close her eyes, he told her to think of somebody who complimented her in those things and who’d build her up as well as support her. RJ thought they knew the answer to who would do that for Hope.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas and Hope will give their romance a real chance this fall, so stay tuned for updates on whether that’ll mean good news for their next chapter together.
