The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Wednesday, April 12 – Brooke Warns Hope Not To Cheat – Taylor’s BFF Competition

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, April 12, reveals that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) asked if Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) had feelings for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), but Hope played dumb and acted like she didn’t know what her mom was talking about.

When Hope got a text on her phone, Brooke asked if that was Thomas messaging her.

Hope said it wasn’t, but she pointed out that she did need to talk to Thomas since they were working together to resuscitate her line.

Brooke was concerned about the things Hope said the other night and the way Hope was communicating with Thomas earlier.

Since Hope had previously admitted to finding Thomas attractive, Brooke once again asked if there were feelings on Hope’s part for Thomas.

If anyone could understand being drawn to inappropriate men and bad boys, it was Brooke.

Hope wondered why Brooke would play with fire and risk so much for men she knew were wrong for her.

Brooke guessed that maybe she felt she needed more excitement in her life or that she had been self-sabotaging.

However, Brooke reminded Hope that she had an incredible marriage and a wonderful man in Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), who was everything Hope wanted.

Hope said she knew that and denied having feelings for Thomas – at least in the way that Brooke was implying.

After Hope admitted she cared about Thomas as Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) father, she pointed out that he was an important part of her son’s life.

“And yours?” Brooke asked on Wednesday’s B&B episode – though she added that she wasn’t trying to make Hope defensive.

Brooke acknowledged that Hope had been under a lot of stress lately and just didn’t want to see her bond with Thomas affect her marriage or family.

Hope appreciated Brooke’s concern, but she insisted there was nothing to worry about and claimed her relationship with Thomas was strictly about work.

After Hope confessed to saying a lot of hurtful things that were uncalled for the other night, she apologized.

Brooke talked about being proud of the way Hope conducted her life and how she never had any scandals or pages in the tabloids.

Brooke also pointed out that Hope didn’t sabotage her marriage by satisfying deep, inner desires.

Once Brooke said she just didn’t want to see anything happen to Hope’s relationship with Liam, Hope promised she wouldn’t let it.

Brooke told Hope how much she loved her and pulled her daughter into a hug, but Hope looked nervous and pensive over her mom’s shoulder.

In the design office at Forrester Creations, Thomas found Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) joking around, so he admitted he liked seeing them like this.

Thomas assured Ridge and Taylor that he was done matchmaking, so Ridge said that was good since Taylor was in a committed relationship already.

Taylor admitted she was serious about her friendship with Brooke and added that they’d made an oath.

Ridge said he didn’t think he’d get tossed to the side like that, so Taylor pointed out that “karma’s a bitch” and laughed.

Now that Taylor wasn’t caught up in a romance, she planned to smother her kids and grandkids with affection.

Taylor felt she had some time to make up for and reflected on staying away for so long in Africa, but Thomas and Ridge praised her for doing important work.

After Thomas talked about what an inspiration Taylor was, Ridge said he he’d always respect and admire her every minute of every day.

Ridge joked about having Taylor Hayes Appreciation Day once a month, but Taylor said Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) had already been pampering her.

Kelly had made a bracelet for her grandma, so Taylor shared that news and proudly showed it off.

After Taylor talked about how happy she was to be back with her family and best friend, Ridge realized she meant him and reminded her that Brooke was her BFF now.

Taylor insisted that Ridge was her other best friend, so Ridge said they were glad to have her where she belonged.

Once the conversation shifted to all the positive changes Thomas had been making, he showed off a new sketch that he’d done at dawn.

Ridge and Taylor praised their son’s talent before Thomas talked about doing what’s best for Hope for the Future.

Thomas wanted to be great friends and coparents with Hope, so he was glad their relationship was finally in a better place.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas will try to stay on the right path, but stick with us for updates on some looming obstacles.
